Bifurcation analysis of the role of good and bad bacteria in the decomposing toxins in the intestine with the impact of antibiotic and probiotics supplement

This study presents a mathematical model describing the interaction of gut bacteria in the participation of probiotics and antibiotics, assuming that some good bacteria become harmful through mutations due to antibiotic exposure. The qualitative analysis exposes twelve equilibrium points, such as a good-bacteria equilibrium, a bad-bacteria equilibrium, and a coexisting endemic equilibrium in which both bacteria exist while being exposed to antibiotics. The theory of the Sotomayor theorem is applied to study the local bifurcation around all possible equilibrium points. It’s noticed that the transcritical and saddle-node bifurcation could occur near some of the system’s equilibrium points, while pitchfork bifurcation cannot be accrued at

MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE TONGUE IN MONGOOSE (HERPESTES JAVANICUS)

The aim of the current study is to identify the morphological description of the tongue in mongoose (Herpestes javanicus) and its relation to the feeding pattern. For this purpose the (5) samples of tongues were dissected from the head of mongoosecaught from different areas of Al-Najaf province, cleaned in normal saline and examined under the dissecting microscope. The results showed the absence of the middle groove in the lingual apex area. As well as the absence of lingual prominence in the body area. The dorsal surface is characterized by the presence of four types from lingual papillae (filiform, cylindrical, fungiform, circumvallate), while the ventral surface is free of lingual papillae. Effect of active smoking on the tympanometry findings in adult men.

Background: Tympanometry findings are considered by many investigators to be associated with passive and active smoking.
Patients and methods: One hundred forty healthy adult men aged (20-50 years). 70 smokers and 70 nonsmokers were recruited for the study. The examination included otoscopy, and screening tympanometry. Smoking history was ascertained by self –report. For each subject, age, smoking status and number of cigarettes per day were noted.
Results: There is a tendency for more negative middle ear pressure in smokers than in non-smokers though this difference may not clinically significant. There were no significant differences in ear canal volume, middle ear compliance and presence of Staped
