Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. The current work focused on combining electrocoagulation, ion-exchange, and ultrasonication treatment approaches for the simultaneous removal of copper, nickel, and zinc ions from water.
