Evaluating dental implant stability using three devices Osstell®, Periotest®, and AnyCheck®: a clinical study

Introduction: Implant stability is usually measured with resonance frequency analysis (RFA) and damping capacity assessment (DCA). This study aimed to measure primary and secondary stabilities using 3 devices that are based on these methods, namely; RFA (Osstell®) and DCA (Periotest® and AnyCheck®) to assess the correlations of the measurements obtained by these devices and the correlations between implant stability and insertion torque. Material and Methods: This observational prospective study included 35 dental implants. The implant stability was measured using the 3 devices. Mann–Whitney U test and unpaired t-test assessed the relationship between implant stability and insertion torque, while the Spearman and Pearson correlations measured the correlation between readings collected via the 3 devices for the primary and secondary stabilities. Results: For the primary stability, there was a strong positive correlation between Osstell® and AnyCheck® and moderate negative correlations between Periotest® and both Osstell® and AnyCheck®. While for the secondary stability, strong correlations with similar patterns were observed among the 3 devices. The stability measurements showed significant relationships with the insertion torque. Conclusions: The 3 devices are reliable in measuring implant stability; also, high insertion torque can lead to improved implant stabilities (primary and secondary).

A proposed Mathematical Expression for Computer Design of Electrostatic Mirror

A computational investigation has been carried out on the design and properties of the electrostatic mirror. In this research, we suggest a mathematical expression to represent the axial potential of an electrostatic mirror. The electron beam path under zero magnification condition had been investigated as mirror trajectory with the aid of fourth – order – Runge – Kutta method. The spherical and chromatic aberration coefficients of mirror has computed and normalized in terms of the focal length. The choice of the mirror depends on the operational requirements, i.e. each optical element in optical system has suffer from the chromatic aberration, for this case, it is use to operate the mirror in optical system at various values

A stylistic vision of the objection in the Quranic discourse

The modern stylistic lesson has become more committed to the scientific limits in which it believed, and more confident in itself, and it is no longer just a scientific procedure that helps other curricula and sciences that preceded it.

Based on this, our modest research ((a stylistic vision of the objection in the Quranic discourse)) arose to explore an artistic rhetorical phenomenon that was included in the Holy Quran text. ; Because analysis is a situation that allows us to see a lot and absorb the stranger more clearly.

And since the horizontal arrangement of the linguistic elements in which stylistically undistinguished elements meet with distinct ones, the other trend has emerged that believes that the stylistic dis

Effectiveness of a dietary education program upon hypertensive clients' information

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of a dietary educational program upon the hypertensive client’s
information.
Methodology: The sample of the study consists of (60) hypertensive clients who attended Al Anbar Health Office –Al
Andalus Health Center during the period of the study from the14th of March 2010 to the 30th of September 2010. The
sample is divided into two groups; study group (30) hypertensive clients who received dietary educational program
and control group (30) hypertensive clients who received a routine care from the center. Three major instruments
were used; these instruments included (1) knowledge test which was applied on both groups pretest and eight weeks
post-test (2) questions to know

The Prevalence of Integron Classes Genes Among A. Baumannii Isolates

Acinetobacter baumannii has been recently classified as a major threat to public health because it has resistant to almost all antibiotics and there are many reasons that are responsible for conferring this feature to A. baumannii. One of these reasons is integrons so in this study we show the role of the integrons in providing resistance to some antibiotics. A number of 60 isolates were collected from different clinical sources of patients who were admitted to Baghdad hospitals and all isolates were diagnosed using biochemical tests and confirmed using  Chrom-ager culture media, and Vitek 2 compact system. The antibiotic susceptibility test was determined during this study using Kirby-Bauer method and the res

La femme fugitive dans ‘’A une passante’’ de Charles Baudelaire

The main subject of this poem is a chance meeting between Baudelaire and unknown beautiful lady.  Her presence represents the far-fetched, magnificent beauty. This beauty forms an aspect of idealism that takes its real existence and disappears immediately.

This emotional poem deals with the continuous despair that dates back to the Romantic age where it was a key topic; the passing woman embodies destiny. All this comes from constant experience and mad love through the poet’s view to a woman paving the way toward the unknown. Baudelaire, however, noticed this unknown through a passer-by that reflected the real and magical image of this unk

Distances Scale Determination for a Planetary Nebula in Galagtic Bulge

ABSTRACT Planetary Nebulae (PN) distances represent the fundamental parameter for the determination the physical properties of the central star of PN. In this paper the distances scale to Planetary Nebulae in the Galactic bulge were calculated re- lated to previous distances scales. The proposed distance scale was done by recalibrated the previous distance scale technique CKS/D82. This scale limited for nearby PN (D ≤ 3.5 kpc), so the surface fluxes less than other distance scales. With these criteria the results showed that the proposed distance scale is more accurate than other scales related to the observations for adopted sample of PN distances, also the limit of ionized radius (Rio) for all both optically thick and optically thin in

A reflection of increased financing Equity on returns commons stocks

The research aims to study the effect of an increase in funding the Equity by issuing new common shares on revenues ordinary shares, despite the issuance and marketing costs and the introduction of new shareholders that companies incur when issuing new common shares but it is the most important methods used to finance the Equity is funding the common shares it provides money sufficient to finance the large investments of the company and enhance the confidence of dealers with the company, so I designed this research in order to identify the impact of increased funding Equity issue new common shares to common shares revenues.

This research has included some of the theoretical concepts to each of the Equity

Herbal activation of mammary gland; a comparative morphometrical & Biochemical analysis

Seventy five adult virgin female Norway rats (60 experimental and 15 controls) were used to evaluate the effect of seeds of three herbs (Fennel, Cumin and Garden cress) on their mammary glands. Experimental animals were fed with these herbs (each type of herb seeds was given to twenty experimental rats) for fourteen days. Rats were sacrificed and mammary gland sections were obtained, stained then morphometrically assessed. Serum prolactin level was performed too. Results revealed that Garden cress seeds are the strongest lactogenic agent among the three. Both Fennel and Cumin seeds were shown to be very weak galactagogues.
