Future wireless networks will require advance physical-layer techniques to meet the requirements of Internet of Everything (IoE) applications and massive communication systems. To this end, a massive MIMO (m-MIMO) system is to date considered one of the key technologies for future wireless networks. This is due to the capability of m-MIMO to bring a significant improvement in the spectral efficiency and energy efficiency. However, designing an efficient downlink (DL) training sequence for fast channel state information (CSI) estimation, i.e., with limited coherence time, in a frequency division duplex (FDD) m-MIMO system when users exhibit different correlation patterns, i.e., span distinct channel covariance matrices, is to date very challenging. Although advanced iterative algorithms have been developed to address this challenge, they exhibit slow convergence speed and thus deliver high latency and computational complexity. To overcome this challenge, we propose a computationally efficient conjugate gradient-descent (CGD) algorithm based on the Riemannian manifold in order to optimize the DL training sequence at base station (BS), while improving the convergence rate to provide a fast CSI estimation for an FDD m-MIMO system. To this end, the sum rate and the computational complexity performances of the proposed training solution are compared with the state-of-the-art iterative algorithms. The results show that the proposed training solution maximizes the achievable sum rate performance, while delivering a lower overall computational complexity owing to a faster convergence rate in comparison to the state-of-the-art iterative algorithms.
This paper presents the application of a framework of fast and efficient compressive sampling based on the concept of random sampling of sparse Audio signal. It provides four important features. (i) It is universal with a variety of sparse signals. (ii) The number of measurements required for exact reconstruction is nearly optimal and much less then the sampling frequency and below the Nyquist frequency. (iii) It has very low complexity and fast computation. (iv) It is developed on the provable mathematical model from which we are able to quantify trade-offs among streaming capability, computation/memory requirement and quality of reconstruction of the audio signal. Compressed sensing CS is an attractive compression scheme due to its uni

The aim of the current research is to identify the level of administrative applications of expert systems in educational leadership departments in light of the systems approach. To achieve the objectives of the research, the descriptive-analytical and survey method was adopted. The results showed that the level of availability of the knowledge base for expert systems in educational leadership departments (as inputs) was low. The level of availability of resources and software for expert systems in educational leadership departments (as transformational processes) came to be low, as well as the level of availability of the user interface for expert systems in educational leadership departments (as outputs
... Show MoreScheduling Timetables for courses in the big departments in the universities is a very hard problem and is often be solved by many previous works although results are partially optimal. This work implements the principle of an evolutionary algorithm by using genetic theories to solve the timetabling problem to get a random and full optimal timetable with the ability to generate a multi-solution timetable for each stage in the collage. The major idea is to generate course timetables automatically while discovering the area of constraints to get an optimal and flexible schedule with no redundancy through the change of a viable course timetable. The main contribution in this work is indicated by increasing the flexibility of generating opti

Show MoreSignal denoising is directly related to sample estimation of received signals, either by estimating the equation parameters for the target reflections or the surrounding noise and clutter accompanying the data of interest. Radar signals recorded using analogue or digital devices are not immune to noise. Random or white noise with no coherency is mainly produced in the form of random electrons, and caused by heat, environment, and stray circuitry loses. These factors influence the output signal voltage, thus creating detectable noise. Differential Evolution (DE) is an effectual, competent, and robust optimisation method used to solve different problems in the engineering and scientific domains, such as in signal processing. Show MoreAmong the metaheuristic algorithms, population-based algorithms are an explorative search algorithm superior to the local search algorithm in terms of exploring the search space to find globally optimal solutions. However, the primary downside of such algorithms is their low exploitative capability, which prevents the expansion of the search space neighborhood for more optimal solutions. The firefly algorithm (FA) is a population-based algorithm that has been widely used in clustering problems. However, FA is limited in terms of its premature convergence when no neighborhood search strategies are employed to improve the quality of clustering solutions in the neighborhood region and exploring the global regions in the search space. This study offers a new Mixed Meta Heuristics algorithm (HGSABAT) for estimating the parameter values of each of the six categories of Non-Linear regression models examined (Misrald, Meyer4, Meyer7, Militky4, Militky2, and MGH09) by combining the Gravitational Search Algorithm and Bat Algorithm. Some models have different numbers of parameters. For example, the Misrald and Militky2 models of the Non-Linear Regression model have two parameters (Bl, B2). In contrast, the MGH09 and Militky4 models have four parameters (MGHl, MGH2, MGH3, and MGH4), in which location as the Meyer4 and Meyer7 models have three attributes (Meyerl, MGH2, and MGH3). To examine the effectiveness of the suggested Hybrid Meta Heuristics algorithm (HGSABAT), a simulatio
