PREVALENCE OF INTESTINAL PROTOZOA IN DEER IN MIDDLE OF IRAQ
...Show More Authors

samples were found to be infected with intestinal protozoa and overall prevalence infection rate was 50% of Cryptospordium sp., (30%) Eimeria sp. and (30%) Entamoeba sp. cumulatively, a total of 23 combinations of coinfections with other intestinal parasite (protozoa + Helminth) between detected infections were reported among these parasites (Eimeria sp. + Rabditae) (Eimeria sp. + Toxocara sp.) (Cryptospordium + Rabditae) and (Entamoeba sp. + Toxocara sp). This study is a survey documentation on multiple intestinal protozoa of deer in middle of Iraq.

Petroleum Hydrodynamic of Oilfields in Basrah, Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

Hydrodynamics is the interpretation of subsurface fluids and pressures to explain and predict hydrocarbon occurrence and trapping. Different models of fluid flow and hydrocarbon entrapments were constructed for the Mishrif Formation in (Rumaila South RU, Rumaila North R, West Qurna WQ, Majnon MJ, and ZubairZB) oilfields in Basra, southern Iraq. The dynamic flow within the oil reservoir was analyzed by measuring the specific gravity, hydrostatic pressure, hydrodynamic pressure, pressure gradient, salinity and hydraulic head. Fluid saturation in the pore space, hydrodynamic parameters, density, permeability and buoyancy influence fluid flow. The hydrodynamic model indicates that the oil fields are non-isolated reservoirs with a unifor

CHECKLIST OF DARKLING BEETLES (COLEOPTERA, TENEBRIONIDAE) IN IRAQ
...Show More Authors

In the current review, an updated list of dark beetle species (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) recorded in Iraq was given. The current paper is based on previous studies in the literature and contains all dark beetles referred to in Iraq, except for the species within the Pimelinae subfamily. The investigation of this review showed the presence of 89 species belonging to 34 genera within five subfamilies. This work included mentioning the basionyms and synonyms for genera and species with their global distribution, as well as, correcting the scientific names that were mentioned in the previous checklists.

Supply Chain Management of Infrastructure Projects in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Infrastructure projects take a long time, are complex, multidisciplinary, use different materials and products, and have high risk. These characteristics affect the process of supplying materials. The current paper studies the ability to improve the supply chain process and decrease its cost by identifying the factors that affect it. These factors are used as variables in the mathematical model, which is working under uncertain conditions when the consumption rate of materials is not constant. The information used in this model is obtained from Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques and the genetic algorithm is utilized to determine the optimal supplier and the quantities of supplies

Review of fish endoparasites in Tigris River, Iraq
...Show More Authors

Fish, like other living organisms, are susceptible to infection with a variety of parasites. Fish is almost not free of parasites, as internal and external parasites. Parasites are organisms of great importance because of their different types and multiple life cycles, they are used as evidence of environmental pollution, and the life of the host . This study dealt with the database of studies of fish parasites in Iraq. Which includes the following classes of parasites: Nematodes as Rhabdochona sp., Anisakis sp., Monogenic as Cichlidogyrus sclerosus , Dactylogyrus anchorayus, Discocotyle sagittata, Dactylogyrus arcuatus, Dactylogyrus extensus, Dactylogyrus simplex, Dactylogyrus Gussevi , Dactylogyrus inexpectatus. A total of 294 specimens of hard ticks (141 male and 153 female) were collected from dog (Canis familiaris) 22 (13 / 9) specimens, from red fox (Vulpes vulpes) 97 (45/52) specimens, from Asiatic jackal (Canis aureus) 170 (80 / 90) specimens and from wolf (Canis lupus) 5 (3/2) specimens; that were caught from the middle, western and southern regions of Iraq. The canine infected with hard ticks in different places of the body that ear, dorsal and all the body. Ticks were removed from the animals using forceps and kept in small tube containing 70% Ethanol and transported to the laboratory in the Iraq Natural History Research Center and Museum for species identification. The current study revealed to three species of hard ticks morphologically
