The present paper describes a static model of malware detection and employs a tri-class prevention policy that operates on the EMBER 2024 Win64 partition. A LightGBM classifier trained on 1,040,000 samples and 804 static PE features achieves AUC-ROC = 0.9979, precision = 98.7%, recall = 97.4%, and F1 = 0.9805 on the temporally-split 240,000-sample test set. An innovative Tri-class Threshold Scheme (BLOCK/SUSPICIOUS/ALLOW) obtained by constrained F2-score optimisation on a separate validation set obtains 97.9% malware detection with 98.1% benign pass rate. Efficient model scoring is verified by mean per-sample model inference latency of 2.30 ms (P99: 2.70 ms) measured on pre-extracted EMBER features, future work is characterized by a complete end-to-end pipeline study, which includes feature extraction overhead. McNemar statistical testing is used to compare 5 classifiers across the same temporal splits. Empirical evidence of this is the retraining-based ablation of all nine EMBER v3 feature groups, which shows that none of the group removals leads to an AUC value below 0.996. The interpretability analysis via SHAP shows PE initialised-data section size, Authenticode certificate presence, and exception table structure as the most discriminating malware indicators.
Four mixed ligand complexes were prepared from 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen), 5-chlorosalicylic acid (CSA), and anthranilic acid (Anthra) dissolved in aqueous ethanol at a ratio of (1:1:1:1) M: Phen:CSA: Anthra, M(II)= Cu, Zn, Cd, and Hg. The prepared compounds were analyzed by flame atomic absorption, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and spectroscopic methods, as well as conductivity measurements and magnetic properties. After analyzing the prepared compounds using the acquired data, the complexes formed by mixing ligands were concluded to adopt an octahedral geometry. That study has been conducted to test the inhibitory effectiveness of the complexes (1,10-Phenanthroline (Phen), 5-Chlorosalicylic acid (CSA), Na[Cu(Phen)(CSA)(Anthra), Na[Zn(Phen)(CSA)(Anthra

It serves a variety of tasks some of them are essential to us. The main objective of SRR is to develop a surveillance system for detecting suspicious and targeted places for users without any loss of human life. This paper shows the design and implementation of a robotic surveillance platform for real-time monitoring with the help of image processing, which can explorer places of difficult access or high risk. The robotic live streaming is via two cameras, the first one is fixed straight on the road and the second one is dynamic with tilt-pan ability. All cameras have image processing capabilities t

The aim of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of Malaysian Gelam honey in inflammation-induced rats. Paw edema was induced by a subplantar injection of 1% carrageenan into the rat right hind paw. Rats were treated with the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) Indomethacin (10 mg/kg, p.o.) or Gelam honey at different doses (1 or 2 g/kg, p.o.). The increase in footpad thickness was considered to be edema, which was measured using a dial caliper. Plasma and paw tissue were collected to analyze the production of inflammatory mediators, such as NO, PGE2

Show MoreImage recognition is one of the most important applications of information processing, in this paper; a comparison between 3-level techniques based image recognition has been achieved, using discrete wavelet (DWT) and stationary wavelet transforms (SWT), stationary-stationary-stationary (sss), stationary-stationary-wavelet (ssw), stationary-wavelet-stationary (sws), stationary-wavelet-wavelet (sww), wavelet-stationary- stationary (wss), wavelet-stationary-wavelet (wsw), wavelet-wavelet-stationary (wws) and wavelet-wavelet-wavelet (www). A comparison between these techniques has been implemented. according to the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), root mean square error (RMSE), compression ratio (CR) and the coding noise e (n) of each third

Different deep-learning methods are used for automatic diagnosis, yet they have some limitations. Deep Learning is one of the modern methods that were used to detect and classify a medical image because of the ability of deep Learning to extract the features of images automatically. However, there are still limitations to using deep learning to accurately classify medical images because extracting the fine edges of medical images is sometimes considered difficult, and some distortion in the images. Therefore, this research aims to develop A Computer-Aided Brain Diagnosis (CABD) system that can tell if a brain scan exhibits indications of

Problem Based Learning (PBL) system, a student centered method, started in the second half of the previous century and is expanding progressively, organizes learning around problems and students learn about a subject through the experience of solving these problems. Objectives:To assess the opinions of undergraduate medical students regarding learning outcomes of PBL in small group teaching and to explore their views about the role of tutors and methods of evaluation. Type of the study: A cross-sectional study. Methods: This study was conducted in Kerbala Medical Colleges among second year students

In various fields, and contribute to achieving multiple gains for humanity, they provide extremist and terrorist organizations and elements with a set of weapons and means through which they attempt to bypass monitoring and control efforts and the restrictions imposed on the use of weapons. They also help in planning and implementing their terrorist operations,

It is the guarantor of the safety of individuals and groups from various internal and external dangers, based on the protection of the three pillars: the individual, the family, and society. For decades, Iraq has witnessed the phenomenon of political instability, represented by its entry into several wars, starting with the 1948 war, leading up to the American war on Iraq in 2003. Then, those wars were followed by an era in which corruption and terrorism spread, and this, in turn, led to the fragmentation of the national will and the division of Iraqi public opinion regarding many regional and inte

This study aims to determine the prevalence of the usp gene in Uropathogenic Escherichia coli isolated from females with urinary tract infections and study its correlation with biofilm formation. One hundred and five urine specimens were collected from female patients (20 to 55 years old) with urinary tract infections attending hospitals. Traditional laboratory methods using selective and differential culture media were used for initial bacterial isolation and identification, and molecular techniques that targeted a segment of the 16SrRNA gene with a specific primer pa
