The current research aimed to conducting two experiments to study the effect of coating hatching eggs with nano-titanium dioxide (nano-TiO2) and nano-silica dioxide (nano-SiO2) particles and their mixture with carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) on the characteristics of hatching percentage, embryo growth inside the egg. The study was conducted in the Department of Animal Production, College of Agriculture, Tikrit University for the period from 19/3/2023 to 17/9/2024. It aimed to evaluate the coating of hatching eggs with Nano-TiO2 and Nano-SiO2 particles and their mixture with carboxymethyl cellulose CMC on the qualities of hatching percentage, embryo growth inside the egg, as well as trying to obtain the best and longest storage method for fertilized eggs up to 10 days and evaluating embryo growth and gene expression of growth genes during the egg incubation period. The results revealed that the process of coating unstored hatching eggs with different coats led to a significant improvement (P<0.05) in the hatching percentage from 90% for control treatment eggs to more than 91% for coated eggs, in addition to a decrease in early, medium and late mortality, and compressed eggs, and an increase in hatched chicks’ parameters, as the average chick weight increased from 43.83 g in control treatment eggs to more than 47 g for eggs coated with nano-coating treatments, and all hatched chicks’ parameters improved. The process of coating hatching eggs with different coats and storing them in the refrigerator for 10 days led to a significant improvement (P<0.05) in the hatching percentage from 86.33% for control treatment eggs to more than 91% for coated eggs, in addition to a decrease in early, medium and late mortality, compressed eggs, and an increase in hatched chicks’ parameters, as the average chick weight increased from 42.15 g in control treatment eggs to more than from 47 grams of eggs, the egg coating treatments with nano-coatings improve all indicators of hatched chicks.
?Natural Occurrence of aflatoxin Bi and B2 was investigated monthly in paddy rice stored for duration of six months. Aflatoxin B| was detected at the beginning of storage. The concentration of aflatoxin Bi in paddy and polished rice was found to be (0.3 and ()) ppb respectively while aflatoxin B2 W'as not detected in both paddy and polished rice afler six months of storage, concentration of aflatoxin Bi ‘ ’ ' reached 3 ppb in paddy rice and 0.9 ppb in polished rice, while the study proved that the concentration of aflatoxin in paddy rice was higher than polished rice as a result of processing which reduce the toxin
Ceramic coating compose from a ceramic mixture (MgO, Al2O3) and metall (Al-Ni) were produced by Thermal Spray Technique. The mixed ratio of used materials Al:Ni (50%) and 40% of Al2O3 and 10% MgO. This mixture was spray on a stainless steel substrate of type (316 L) by using thermal spray with flame method and at spraying distances (8, 12, 16 and 20) cm, then the prepared films were treated by laser and thermal treatment.
