Contamination Effect of Arsenic Trioxide on White Rat
...Show More Authors

Widely present in the environment, arsenic trioxide has been identified as a genotoxic substance that poses a serious risk to public health. The genotoxic potential of arsenic at low allowable dosage levels is assessed in this study. Four groups of twelve adult rats each were created from the 48 total. Animals in Group I were used as controls Chromosome abnormalities found in bone marrow cells were used to assess the mutagenic potential of arsenic. Hematological parameters were also assessed. At 60 and 90 days, the percentage of microsomal degranulation in the hepatic fraction increased and the amounts of RNA and proteins considerably reduced (P < 0.01) in all three dosages given. was employed in order to assess hematological parameters White blood cells, lymphocytes, red blood cells, platelets, and mean erythrocyte hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) were all substantially lower (P≤0.05) in the arsenic treatment group than in the control group. Nevertheless, there are no appreciable changes in other measures such granulocytes, mean absolute count, hemoglobin (HGB), packed cell volume (PCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), and platelet count (PCT). We found that when rabbits get repeated therapeutic dosages of ivermectin over a brief period of time, Therefore, it is advised to take one dose over a few weeks. All of the treated animals showed a dose-dependent increase in chromosomal abnormalities such as fragmentation and breaking. The current study's findings demonstrated that long-term exposure to arsenic, even at low allowable dosage levels, has mutagenic and carcinogenic consequences, underscoring the metal's potential for genotoxicity.

This work aimed to identify biosurfactant-producing bacterial strains isolated from hydrocarbon-contaminatedsites and to evaluate their biosurfactant properties. The drop-collapse method and minimal agar added witha layer of diesel as carbon source were used for screening, positive strains were able to grow in a liquidmedium, and surface tension and emulsification index were determined in cell-free supernatant and cellsuspension. 250 bacterial isolate were tested, and 16 were positive for the drop-collapse and hydrocarbonlayer agar method. Most of the strains were Pseudomonas, except for three strains (Acinetobacter, Bacillus, and Rhodococcus). Surface tension was similar in cell-free and cell suspension measurements, with valuesin t

One of the contemporary trends in education and training is the use of educational, competitive and digital games, because one of the most important goals of games is (motivation and challenge). Thus, it ensures the expected reaction from the recipient’s interaction with the game, so we seek his interaction with the content he receives. It is no secret that games distance him from boring content and introduce him to the world of motivation by integrating them with magical elements that make an attractive and desirable game. Naturally, in the case of stimuli and motives that activate the recipient within the context of the educational process procedures, the return is high and especially enjoyable. Three types of extracts ( aquatic, alcoholic, and oily ) were prepared from the fruits of coconuts, and a series of chemical tests were conducted in addition to the use of the FTIR equipment to determine the active locations in the prepared extracts. The results indicated the presence of active compounds (tannins, saponins, flavonoids, turbines and steroids) in the extracts prepared from the fruits of coconuts, also the antimicrobial capability of these extracts were tested on pathogenic bacteria isolated from wounds and burns infections cases. The results proved that the concentration 80 mg/ml of the aquatic extract is the minimum inhibitory concentration for the microbes: Proteus vulgaris and Pseudomonas fluorescence, while the
