Widely present in the environment, arsenic trioxide has been identified as a genotoxic substance that poses a serious risk to public health. The genotoxic potential of arsenic at low allowable dosage levels is assessed in this study. Four groups of twelve adult rats each were created from the 48 total. Animals in Group I were used as controls Chromosome abnormalities found in bone marrow cells were used to assess the mutagenic potential of arsenic. Hematological parameters were also assessed. At 60 and 90 days, the percentage of microsomal degranulation in the hepatic fraction increased and the amounts of RNA and proteins considerably reduced (P < 0.01) in all three dosages given. was employed in order to assess hematological parameters White blood cells, lymphocytes, red blood cells, platelets, and mean erythrocyte hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) were all substantially lower (P≤0.05) in the arsenic treatment group than in the control group. Nevertheless, there are no appreciable changes in other measures such granulocytes, mean absolute count, hemoglobin (HGB), packed cell volume (PCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), and platelet count (PCT). We found that when rabbits get repeated therapeutic dosages of ivermectin over a brief period of time, Therefore, it is advised to take one dose over a few weeks. All of the treated animals showed a dose-dependent increase in chromosomal abnormalities such as fragmentation and breaking. The current study's findings demonstrated that long-term exposure to arsenic, even at low allowable dosage levels, has mutagenic and carcinogenic consequences, underscoring the metal's potential for genotoxicity.
An experiment was carried out to study the effect of soil organic carbon (SOC) and soil texture on the distance of the wetting front, cumulative water infiltration (I), infiltration rate (IR), saturated water conductivity (Ks), and water holding capacity (WHC). Three levels ( 0, 10, 20, and 30 g OC kg-1 ) from organic carbon (OC) were mixed with different soil materials sandy, loam, and clay texture soils. Field capacity (FC) and permanent wilting point (PWP) were estimated. Soil materials were placed in transparent plastic columns(12 cm soil column ), and water infiltration(I) was measured as a function of time, the distance of the wetting front and Ks. Results showed that advance we
The study explains how translation participates in shaping the responses of different communities to global awareness campaigns, and the extent to which language and translated terminology from English to Arabic influence the audience’s understanding and interaction with the awareness messages delivered by these campaigns. The research aims to explore the problems in translating these campaign titles, which may lead to vague meaning, as the process is considered a major challenge due to the need to navigate linguistic nuances, cultural differences, and contextual variations. In this study, some awareness phrases were randomly chosen from many types of organizations’ campaigns, like the WHO, UN, mental health, and Empowerment, a

Many years ago, the lipid-lowering drug simvastatin; and omega-3 were considered as a traditional lipid-lowering drug that have been well-documented to possess anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective and triglyceride-lowering properties; and their co-administration may demonstrate a complementary effect in lowering patients' triglycerides and total cholesterol to treat atherosclerosis. The propagation of the laser beam through the atmosphere is subject to several attenuation processes that deplete the power and expand the beam. Through the simulation results of the free electron laser within the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum (400-700nm), it was found that the attenuation increases with decreasing wavelength. Laser propagation in the presence of rain and snow leads to a very large loss of power compared to propagation i

Show MoreInfluence of combined square nozzle with helical tape inserted in a constant heat flux tube on heat transfer enhancement for turbulent airflow for Reynolds number ranging from 7000 to 14500 were investigated experimentally. Three different pitch ratios for square nozzle (PR = 5.8, 7.7 and 11.6) according to three different numbers of square nozzle (N = 3, 4 and 5) and constant pitch ratios for helical tape were used. The results observed that the Nusselt number and friction factor for combination with winglets were found to be up to 33.8 % and 21.4 %, respectively higher than nozzle alone for pitch ratio PR=5.8. The maximum value of thermal performance for using combination with winglets was about 1.351 for pitch ratio= 5.8. Nusselt numb

The inserts used in this study are carbide inserts coated with TiAlN (Titanum, Aluminium and Nitride) for machining a shaft of stainless steel 316L. Finite difference method was used to find the temperature distribution. The experimental results were done using infrared camera while the simulation process was performed using Matlab software package. The results showed that the maximum difference between the experimental and simulation results was equal to 19.3 , so, a good agreement between the experimental and simulation results was achieved. Each treatment included three replicates in each replicate contain 28 birds, in order to study the effect of adding different levels of dried dill plant on the productive performance and some characteristics of the carcass for broilers. The results showed a significant increase (p<0.05) in the average body weight at 5 weeks of age for the treatments (

The process includes increase in the activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis which promotes cortisol secretion. Salivary cortisol has been used as a measure of free circulating cortisol levels. The use of salivary biomarkers has gained increased popularity since collecting samples is non-invasive and painless. The aim of thisstudy was to evaluate the level of cortisol in saliva among sample of university students having myofacial pain, during the final exam period and whether this finding could have a significa
