Nanofluids (dispersion of nanoparticles in a base fluid) have been suggested as promising agents in subsurface industries including enhanced oil recovery. Nanoparticles can easily pass through small pore throats in reservoirs formations; however, physicochemical interactions between nanoparticles and between nanoparticles and rocks can cause a significant retention of nanoparticles. This study investigated the transport, attach, and retention of silica nanoparticles in core plugs. The hydrophilic silica nanoparticles were injected into limestone core as nanofluid of different nanoparticles size (5 nm, and 20 nm), concentration (0.005 – 0.1 wt% SiO2), and base fluid salinity (0 – 3 wt% NaCl) at different temperatures (23, and 50 °C). Deposition and transport of nanoparticles were measured via nanoparticle concentration of effluent fluid, and energy distractive spectroscopy (EDS) measurement on the limestone core. It was found that silica nanoparticles dispersed in brine (NaCl) solutions are increasingly retained in limestone core as the solution ionic strength increases. On the other hand, less significant retention was measured when the nanoparticles were dispersed in DI water. The EDS measurements also reported the same trend of increased nanoparticles retention with salinity due to larger aggregates that result from the screening effect of the electrolyte on repulsive forces between nanoparticles. Thus, the observed change in surface wettability from oil to water-wet and the increase in oil production that reported in many core flooding laboratory studies are mainly related to the high adsorption rate of hydrophilic silica nanoparticles on carbonate surfaces.
Malignant renal neoplasm: Because benign tumors of kidney are rare, so it is a good rule that all neoplasm of kidney which are recognized clinically should be treated as malignant. They are uncommon between the ages of 7&40(l).Rcna! cell carcinoma is the most common tumor of the kidney in adult. It arises from renal tubular cells.. It is rare in children &is more frequent in men than women. It is an adenocarcinoma &is the most common neoplasm(75%) of kidney. The tumor may invade loca!Iy& metastasize by way of blood stream &the lymphatics. Regional lymph nodes are involved in approximately 30% of patients, unfortunately sign &symptoms are usually meager until the disease is advanced. Gross haematuria is the most fr

Many researches and studies concerned in titles and their analyses on the structural, semantic and pragmatic levels have been developed. Title gives a vital assistance to control the text harmony and to understand its vague aspects. It is the axis which re-generates itself, grows, and re-produces itself; as if it were a head for a body.
Title has strong relation to the reader- waiting horizon, multiplies as many levels of understanding are there. The horizon of waiting is limited by the title, basically, to be the first reason for the text entrance, as the first thing attracts the reader is the title.

Back ground: nasopharyngeal carcinoma is rare in Iraq and the treatment of this tumor is usually by radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Objectives: this study was conducted to estimate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in Iraqi patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Patients and methods: This study included sixty patients already diagnosed with nasopharyngeal tumors who attended the department of oncology in Baghdad teaching hospital during the period from January 2009 to December 2010,50 patients of them were treated by using combination chemotherapy in the form of Paclitaxel,5Flurouracil and cisplatinol for 4 courses prior to radiotherapy. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy was given due to advanced stage at p

BACKGROUND:Gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) in infants and children is one of the more alarming conditions encountered in pediatrics. It is nonetheless an anxiety-provoking complaint. Most etiologies are self-limited and benign.
AIM OF STUDY:To review the causes of upper gastrointestinal bleeding and its clinical presentations in children and evaluate the role of endoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
PATIENTS AND METHOD:Fifty eight patients from 4 days old up to the age of 18 years who referred with upper gastrointestinal bleeding to the Gastro intestinal&Hepatology unit in the Children Welfare Teaching Hospital/ Medical City/Baghdad, in the period from 1st of April 2010 to 1st of November 2010.

The aim of this paper is to prove some results for equivalence of moduli of smoothnes in approximation theory , we used a"non uniform" modulus of smoothness and the weighted Ditzian –Totik moduli of smoothness in by spline functions ,several results are obtained .For example , it shown that ,for any the inequality , is satisfied ,finally, similar result for chebyshev partition and weighted Ditzian –Totik moduli of smoothness are also obtained.
Background: The goal of this study was to determine the prevalence and the risk factors of asymptomatic pyuria in diabetic female patients.
Methods: The study included 100 diabetic female patients and 100 non diabetic females attending the outpatient in the period from Sep.2001 to Sep.2002.Patients with symptoms of
urinary tract infection were excluded. Asymptomatic pyuria was defined as the presence of more than 10 leukocytes\high power field in an uncentrifuged random urine sample.
Results: Diabetic women more often had asymptomatic pyuria than non diabetic women. The prevalence of asymptomatic pyuria was significantly higher in patients with duration of diabetes exceeding 15 years than those below. Di
Because it is obligatory for every Muslim to pay attention to the jurisprudence of his religion in order to achieve goodness thereby
He is guided to the paths of light.
One of the most important topics of Islamic jurisprudence is marriage. Because it relates to the life of every member of society, the engagement is one of the prerequisites for marriage, and whatever is related to what is important is important. It also contains many matters and details, so we wanted to write a study in it that understands its tasks so that the Muslim is aware of his religion.
And let him stay away from situations and customs that contradict our true religion. We have adopted approved books that are widely circulated among the majo
