In the present study the radon concentration was measured in indoor places by the RAD7 (radon detector) was in some locations at Al-Tuwaitha nuclear site and some surrounding areas for the duration from 13/10/2016 to 2/1/2017 and the measurement of the indoor radon concentration ranged from (4.96±4.4 to 102±25) Bq/m3. The high value of radon has been found at decommissioning directorate /emergency room, which is lower than the action value recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which is (148 Bq/m3) while the lowest value has been founded in central laboratories directorate \ models room. The present study aims to investigate the effects of duration and complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus on diabetic related parameters, adipocytokines and calcium regulating hormones. This study was conducted on eighty diabetic patients (41 male and 39 female) in Iraq, with an age range of 20-60 years and a disease duration range of 1-180 months. Blood samples were collected from the patients to determine three main types of biomarkers: diabetic-related parameters [Fasting blood sugar is FBS glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), insulin, and insulin resistance (IR)], adipocytokines [adiponectin and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and calcium regulating hormones [parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcitonin, and vitamin D].

This paper investigates a new approach to the rapid control of an upper limb exoskeleton actuator. We used a mathematical model and motion measurements of a human arm to estimate joint torque as a means to control the exoskeleton’s actuator. The  two  i nsecticides  Nogos and  Sumicidin  were  tested  for  their activity  against larvae  and  eggs  of  Culex  pipiens under  laboratory conditi on.

Third  instar  larvae  were  exposed  for  24, 48 and  72.  hrs  to five concentrations  each insecticide  test: 0.0005, 0.005, 0.05, 0.5 and  1.0 ppm. The same concentrations were used to test the eggs hatching.
