Background: Significant advancements have been observed in the additive manufacturing (AM) technology industry in recent decades. Due to the inherent variations among each AM manufacturing technique, new areas of investigation continually arise and require consideration. Additionally, the novel applications of additive manufacturing present new difficulties and possibilities for targeted focus. The aim of this manuscript is to conduct a comprehensive literature review that describes the various processing methods, precision levels, types of materials utilized, and potential applications of 3D printing technology in the field of dentistry. Data: An online search was conducted on databases including Research Gate, Google Scholar, and PubMed to identify potential applications of AM technologies in the dental industry. The most relevant studies on the subject were selected, including English-language articles published between 2006 and 2022. Conclusion: It is feasible to incorporate a variety of AM techniques in dentistry, which has led to improved workflow and acceptable clinical results. Moreover, the different technologies of 3D printing have a broad array of potential applications, enabling the development of novel and optimized techniques to produce dental products.
This review delves deep into the intricate relationship between urban planning and flood risk management, tracing its historical trajectory and the evolution of methodologies over time. Traditionally, urban centers prioritized defensive measures, like dikes and levees, with an emphasis on immediate solutions over long-term resilience. These practices, though effective in the short term, often overlooked broader environmental implications and the necessity for holistic planning. However, as urban areas burgeoned and climate change introduced new challenges, there has been a marked shift in approach. Modern urban planning now emphasizes integrated blue-green infrastructure, aiming to harmonize human habitation with water cycles. Resil

To meet the challenge of the impending energy crisis, renewable energy has been growing rapidly in the last decade. Among the renewable energy sources, solar energy is the most extensively available energy, has the least effect on the environment, and is very efficient in terms of energy conversion. Thus, solar energy has become one of the preferred sources of renewable energy. Flat-plate solar collectors are one of the extensively-used and well-known types of solar collectors. However, the effectiveness of the coll

Sensing data without an accurate location is worthless, especially in critical applications. The pioneering technique in range-free localization schemes is a sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) method, which utilizes network connectivity to estimate sensor location without additional hardware. This study presents a comprehensive survey of state-of-the-art SMC localization schemes. We present the schemes as a thematic taxonomy of localization operation in SMC. Moreover, the critical characteristics of each existing scheme are analyzed to identify its advantages

Despite therapeutic advances, two-thirds of patients with metastatic cancer experience inadequate pain control. This scoping review synthesizes recent advances in cancer pain pathophysiology and management, focusing on molecular and cellular mechanisms, emerging pharmacological, interventional and technological therapies and key evidence gaps to inform future precision-based pain management strategies. Methods: Following PRISMA-ScR methodology, we searched PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science for studies published between January 2022 and Septem

According to this our research is concerned to study the effect of addition of (4% CaO) and (5% graphite) on the silica brick properties. Different amounts of CaO and Graphite were included in the white sand (raw ingredients) of silica bricks as a binder to prepare the composition then the composition were sintered using Different sintering temperatures ranging from (1000–1400)𝛐C under static air. Density, thermal conductivity, porosity, and water absorption Compression there was power tested after sintering. XRD analysis was used to identify raw materials’

Show MoreIndustrial machining workshops generate substantial quantities of aluminum wire offcuts and filings that cannot be re-entered into bulk metal recycling circuits, posing both a resource management challenge and a potential environmental burden. This study demonstrates a closed-loop valorization route in which this low-grade aluminum waste is converted into nanostructured aluminum oxide (Al2O3) nanoparticles (NPs) by two scalable synthesis pathways (i) chemo-thermal calcination of precipitated Al(OH)₃ at 1000 °C and 1200 °C for 1 and 4 h, and (ii) direct chemical precipitation via AlCl3/Na2CO3 reaction, and then deployed as a functional additive in water-based drilling fluids (WBDFs) used by the oil and gas industry. Show MoreThe present experimental work is conducted to examine the influence of adding Alumina (Al2O3) nanoparticles and Titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles each alone to diesel fuel on the characteristic of the emissions. The size of both Alumina and Titanium oxide nanoparticles which have been added to diesel fuel to obtain nano-fuel is about 20 nm and 25 nm respectively. Three doses of (Al2O3) and (TiO2) were prepared (25, 50, and 100) ppm. The nanoparticles mixed with gas oil fuel by mechanical homogenous (manual electrical mixer) and ultrasonic processor. The study reveals that the adding of Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and Titanium oxide (TiO2) to g
