أن إحدى اكبر مشاكل الصحة العالمية هي ظهور مقاومة الميكروبية للأدوية الشائعة لذلك هناك حاجة ملحة لمضادات جرثومية جديدة ذات نشاط أحيائي معزز .في هذا الدراسة, تم تحضير خمسة مشتقات جديدة من الكينولين  A,B,C,D  وEكمضادات جرثومية. تم فحص بنية المركبات المحضرة باستخدام  UV light , FTIR NMR  . تم استخدام طريقة الانتشار بالحفر في الطبق لاختبار الخصائص المضادة للبكتريا للمركبات المحضرة في المختبر ضد نوعين من البكتريا الموجبة

The preparation of low cost activated carbon from date stones and microwave method by using K₂CO₃ as chemical activator were investigated.

   The prepared activated carbon was used to remove fluoroquinolones antibiotics from aqueous solution. The characterizations of the activated carbon is represented by surface area, pore volume, ash content, moisture content, bulk density, and iodine number. Background: Cigarette smoking (CS) is a periodontal disease risk factor, affecting clinical parameters such as bleeding on probing (BOP), plaque index (PI), gingival index (GI) and proinflammatory cytokines level. This study examines the impact electronic cigarette use on proinflammatory cytokines and periodontal parameters. Methods: In this non-randomized study, ninety participants diagnosed with gingivitis were assigned into three groups. examined the effect of oral hygiene instructions on periodontal parameters and inflammatory biomarkers.
