ENDOCRINE REPRODUCTIVE EFFECTS OF PREGABALIN DRUG IN FEMALE ALBINO RATS
...Show More Authors

The aim of present study was to investigate the effect of Pregabalin on hormonal profile of pituitary and ovarian hormones in female albino rats. Three groups of healthy adult female albino rats having fifteen rats in each group were selected for present study. The rats of groups G2 and G3 were administered with Pregabalin with two doses 150 mg and 300mg/kg b.wt/day respectively by orally route daily for 1month, 2 months, and 3 months. Animals of group G1 (Control) were given saline alone. After the experimental periods, the rats were sacrificed, and the study of hormonal profile was carried out by collecting blood samples from the heart puncture method, centrifuged sera and analyzing concentrations of estrogen, progesterone and gonadotropins for hormonal profile via RIA method. The results were shown significant decrease in the body weight among various groups. Also ovarian weight and ovarian diameter in the experimental groups G2 and G3 were decreased significantly (p≤ 0.05). Significant decrease in the levels of FSH, LH and PRL hormones were observed in the low dose and high dose. In contrast to the levels of progesterone, estradiol, and testosterone hormones were showed a significant increase in all experimental groups compared with the control group. Final remarks of our investigation are that, the oral administration 150 mg and 300mg/kg b.wt/day of Pregabalin can produce adverse effects on hormonal profile

This research included the methodological framework represented by the research problem that emerged from pop art as a new experimental vision that emerged in the twentieth century and the importance of the research and its objectives and limits and the definition of terms. The theoretical framework dealt with evolution Technology,

We refer in this research into linguistic binaries, try rounding of simiaei news analysis. It is known that there are branches of Linguistics called social Linguistics, divided into communicative Linguistics and media. Perhaps the best justification for the inclusion of a new curriculum in media studies is a semiotic analysis of the news. I›ve turned the speech, language and communication studies in relation to different disciplines, many research projects, and returned only old curriculum, speed shift in thought, proportional to the revolution in information and communication technology, for reality imposed on the entire world, researchers are the first affected by this enormous humanitarian Almanza. Acontaminated ophthalmic solutions represent a potential cause of avoidable ocular infection. This study aimed to determine the magnitude and pattern of microbial contamination of eye drops in out patient at the department of ophthalmology, at Baghdad national hospital, Iraq. Fifty four vials from the out patient clinic were obtained for microbial examination after an average use of 2 weeks. The dropper tip and the residual eye drop were examined for contamination. The specimens were cultured, the number of colonies counted, the organisms identified. Eight (15%)  out of 54 analyzed vials were contaminated , most bacteria identi

Optimization of Infill Drilling in Whicher Range Field in Australia

Abstract<p>Now that most of the conventional reservoirs are being depleted at a rapid pace, the focus is on unconventional reservoirs like tight gas reservoirs. Due to the heterogeneous nature and low permeability of unconventional reservoirs, they require a huge number of wells to hit all the isolated hydrocarbon zones. Infill drilling is one of the most common and effective methods of increasing the recovery, by reducing the well spacing and increasing the sweep efficiency. However, the problem with drilling such a large number of wells is the determination of the optimum location for each well that ensures minimum interference between wells, and accelerates the recovery from the field. Due to the significance of hospital drinking water, a study was done to assess the water in three hospitals in Baghdad (Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital, Ibn Sina Hospital, and Ibn-Al-Nafis Hospital) for its nature and quality, compare it to other hospitals in terms of its physical, chemical, and bacterial specifications, and compare it to international standards. According to Iraqi standards from 2009 and WHO standards from 2011, Chemical factors were measured, which included pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Calcium Ion (Ca+2). Reported readings are all within acceptable ranges for drinking water. In contrast, turbidity, total hardness (T.H.), chlorides (Cl-), magnesium (Mg+2), the number of aerobic plates (APC), total coliform (T

Analysis of Unstressed Pronouns in ELE Teaching Manuals in Iraq
...Show More Authors

This paper shows that there are few studies on errors and difficulties with unstressed pronouns in Spanish. Similarly, when consulting teaching methods, we find that the most consulted texts are ELE manuals. In this sense, the purpose of this paper is to verify the teaching proposal regarding unstressed pronouns in the ELE manuals most used at the Faculty of Languages - University of Baghdad, Iraq. It is urgently needed for ELE teachers in Iraq and students to obtain the most recent ELE manuals, as this will help them teach and learn about unstressed pronouns with texts that contain more didactic and engaging exercises. Furthermore, teachers will be able to plan strategies and lessons for the correct use of these texts.
