The aim of the present work, was measuring of uranium concentrations in 25 soil samples from five locations of Al-Kut city. The samples taken from different depths ranged from soil surface to 60cm step 15 cm, for this measurement of uranium concentrations .The most widely used technique SSNTDs was chosen to be the measurement technique. Results showed that the higher concentrations were in Hai Al- Kafaat which recorded 1.49 ± 0.054 ppm . The uranium content in soil samples were less than permissible limit of UNSCEAR(11.7ppm).

We proposed algorithms to solve the single machine scheduling multiobjective problem. In this problem, we consider minimizing the total completion times, total tardiness and maximum tardiness criteria. First a branch and bound (BAB) algorithm is applied for the 1//∑Ci+∑Ti+Tmax problem. Second we compare two multiobjective algorithms one of them based on (BAB) algorithm to find the set of efficient (non dominated) solutions for the 1//(∑Ci ,∑Ti ,Tmax) problem. The Cu(II) was found using a quick and uncomplicated procedure that involved reacting it with a freshly synthesized ligand to create an orange complex that had an absorbance peak of 481.5 nm in an acidic solution.
