Many new heterocyclic compounds including 4-thiazolidinones containing indole with triazole units were described. The new Schiff bases [VII] a, b and [VIII] a, b synthesized by condensation acid hydrazides [II],[VI] with different (aromatic) aldehydes in absolute ethanol. The refluxing equimolar amounts of the Schiff bases ([VII] a, b,[VIII] a, b) with thioglycolic acid in benzene led to get thiazolidin-4-ones derivatives ([IX] a, b and [X] ad). Finally, the new derivatives [XI] ac run out via the reacted compound [IX] a with different n-alkyl bromide (methyl bromide, ethyl bromide, and butyl bromide)
A novel series of chitosan derivatives were synthesized via reaction of chitosan with carbonyl compounds and grafted it’s by with different amine compounds substituted hydrogen. The produced polymers were characterized by different analyses FTIR, 1HCNMR, XRD, DSC and TGA. Solubility in water as well as many solvent was investigated, antibacterial activity of chitosan and its derivatives against two types of bacteria E. coli and S. aureus was also investigated. The results showed that derivatives sort of have antibacterial activities against Esherichia coli (Gram negative) better than chitosan whilst compound IX has better antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive). SEM analysis showed that increase of surface roughness wi

Other physical properties including softening and melting points, PH and solubility of the polymers were also measured
Three azo compounds were synthesized in two different methods, and characterized by FT-IR, HNMR andVis) spectra, melting points were determined. The inhibitory effects of prepared compounds on the activity of human serum cholinesterase have been studied in vitro. Different concentrations of study the type of inhibition. The results form line weaver-Burk plot indicated that the inhibitor type was noncompetitive with a range (33.12-78.99%).
A new azo dye, 5,5-[1,2-phenylenebis(2,1-biazenediyl)]bis[8-quinolino], was synthesized by reacting the diazonium salt of o-phenylenediamine with 8-hydroxyquinoline. The ligand was subsequently used to prepare a series of metal complexes with V(IV), Fe(III), Cr(III), Mn(II), Mo(VI), and Ru(III). The ligand was characterized using 1H and 3C-NMR spectroscopy, while the metal complexes were analyzed using UV-Vis, FT-IR, and mass spectrometry, along with thermal analysis (TGA, DSC), (C.H.N.), conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, and metal and chlorine content analysis, the results indicated that the ligand exhibits tetracoordination. The complexes predominantly formed octahedral geometries, except for the vanadium complex, which

Show MoreA series of new heterocyclic aromatic derivatives compounds were synthesized by reacted of Bis-methylene-di-(2-aminobenzoyl chloride) with different chloride moieties such as piperidine-1-sulfonylchloride, Pryidine-3-sulfonylchloride, 4,4and#39;-(diazene-1,2-diyl)dibenzoyl-chloride and chloramphenicol respectively, to afforded a derivatives compound containing primary amine group [A-A4]. These derivative compounds [A-A4] were reacted with polyethanol using cold-warm esterification to synthesize of new graft polymers [B1-B4]. The structures of products were conforming by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. XRD-Diffraction of grafted polymer showed compound [B1 and B3] were crystal and semi-crystal respectively. Ethyl (benzimidazole-2-yl thio) acetate (1) has been prepared by condensing 2-mercaptobenzimidazole with ethylchloroacetate. The ester (1) on reacting with hydrazine hydrate gave the corresponding acetohydrazide(2)which was reacted separately with phenylisocyanate and phenylisothiocyanate, followed by ring closure in an alkaline medium giving 3-[(benzimidazole-2-yl thio) methyl]-4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-ol and 3-[(benzimidazole-2-yl thio) methyl]-4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thiol respectively (6,7). Reaction of acetohydrazide (2) with CS2 and ethanol/KOH, gave dithiocarbazate salt (8). Cyclization of (8) with hydrazine hydrate gave 3-[(benzimi
