Hair is an excellent indicator for abnormal concentration of toxic elements , In this study a random samples from girls hair of 12 cm long were irradiated by a flux of neutrons (4x10^ n/ cm^.s) obtained from an Am-Be neutron source of 5-Ci activitity . The y-ray activity measurements were carried out by using a " 5x5 " well- type Nal (Tl) detector. This retrospective study done in Hawler surgical specialty cardiac center on pediatric patients who had pulmonary valve stenosis (with echocardiographic peak gradient 2:50mmHg) and treated by balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty. This study aimed to assess the possible association of oxytocin (OXT) gene with reproductive traits in two groups of Awassi ewes that differ in their reproductive potentials. Sheep were genotyped using PCR—single-stranded conformation polymorphism approach. Three genotypes were detected in exon 2, CC, CA, and AA, and a novel SNP was identified with a missense effect on oxytocin (c.188C > A → p.Arg55Leu).
