The Effects of Initial Laser Intensity on the Nonlinear Optical Properties of The Laser Dye DQOCI Doped Films Using Z-Scan Technique
...Show More Authors

This study is dedicated to investigate the effects of initial laser intensity on the nonlinear optical properties of the laser dye DQOCI dissolved in methanol with a concentration of 10 -5 M and doped with PMMA film. The properties were studied by using open and closed aperture Z-scan technique, with different levels of initial intensity (I0), excited by continuous diode solid-state laser at a wavelength of 532 nm. Three lenses of different focal lengths were employed to change the radius of the Gaussian laser beam and then change the initial intensity. For I0= 6.83 and 27.304 kWatt/cm2, the Z-scan curves show a saturation of absorption (SA) known as the negative type of nonlinearity, in which

The Insecticidal Effects of Nogos and Sumicidin Against Eggs and Larvae of The Mosquito Culex pipiens L.(Diptera: Culicidae)
...Show More Authors

The  two  i nsecticides  Nogos and  Sumicidin  were  tested  for  their activity  against larvae  and  eggs  of  Culex  pipiens under  laboratory conditi on.

Third  instar  larvae  were  exposed  for  24, 48 and  72.  hrs  to five concentrations  each insecticide  test: 0.0005, 0.005, 0.05, 0.5 and  1.0 ppm. The same concentrations were used to test the eggs hatching.

The  results showed   that Nogos  was more effective  than  Sumicidin. This insecticide (Nogos)  demonstrated  larval  mortal ities (94%) after

The strategy of applying quality indicators to educational outcomes according to market requirements - a fundamental study
...Show More Authors

A research study in which a methodology for quality indicators that can be adopted to evaluate the educational process in educational institutions within a specific strategy helps individuals in charge of educational education to make appropriate decisions based on accurate and properly approved plans to achieve successful outcomes.

These indicators can be used to judge the quality of educational institutions in order to improve, improve and develop them. This study has concluded the necessity of putting quality into actual application in order to benefit from it in evaluating the future action of Iraqi educational institutions.

The external changes brought about by technology and family life have made the

Linear and Non-Linear Stability Analysis for Thermal Convection in A Bidispersive Porous Medium with Thermal Non-Equilibrium Effects: Linear and non-linear stability analysis
...Show More Authors

The linear instability and nonlinear stability analyses are performed for the model of bidispersive local thermal non-equilibrium flow. The effect of local thermal non-equilibrium on the onset of convection in a bidispersive porous medium of Darcy type is investigated.  The temperatures in the macropores and micropores are allowed to be different. The effects of various interaction parameters on the stability of the system are discussed. In particular, the effects of the porosity modified conductivity ratio parameters,  and , with the int

The Use Of the Bayesian Method and Restricted Maximum Likelihood in estimating of mixed Linear Components with random effects model with practical application.
...Show More Authors

In this research we study a variance component model, Which is the one of the most important models widely used in the analysis of the data, this model is one type of a multilevel models, and it is considered as linear models , there are three types of linear variance component models ,Fixed effect of linear variance component model, Random effect of linear variance component model and Mixed effect of linear variance component model . In this paper we will examine the model of mixed effect of linear variance component model with one –way random effect ,and the mixed model is a mixture of fixed effect and random effect in the same model, where it contains the parameter (μ) and treatment effect (τi ) which  has

Evaluation of the antibacterial effects of Eucalyptus camaldulensis L., Glycyrrhiza glabra L. and Morus nigra L. extracts against some pathogenic bacteria in vitro
...Show More Authors

This study aimed to test the effect of using different concentrations of three different plants extracts to inhibit the growth of gram negative and gram positive bacteria by two technics. Eucalyptus camaldulensis bark, Glycyrrhiza glabra rhizomes and Morus nigra leaves ethanolic extract at (0,20,30,40 and 50 mg/ml) were used. The antimicrobial activity and the biofilm inhibition assay used with these extracts showed positive effect in inhibiting the growth of bacteria. E.amaldulensis extract showed the higher effect than G. glabra and M.nigra extracts in antimicrobial activity assay, while the effect of E. camaldulensis extract in biofilm inhibition assay was higher than G. glabra that was higher than M. nigra extracts for both gram nega

Approximate Treatment for The MHD Peristaltic Transport of Jeffrey Fluid in Inclined Tapered Asymmetric Channel with Effects of Heat Transfer and Porous Medium
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we discuss a fluid problem that has wide applications in biomechanics, polymer industries, and biofluids. We are concerned here with studying the combined effects of porous medium and heat transfer on MHD non-Newtonian Jeffery fluid which flows through a two dimensional asymmetric, inclined tapered channel. Base equations, represented by mass conservation, motion, energy and concentration conservation, were formulated first in a fixed frame and then transformed into a moving frame. By holding the assumptions of “long wavelength and low Reynolds number” these physical equations were simplified into differential equations. Approximate solutions for the velocity profile, stream function, and temperature profile we
