The first aim of the present study was performed to assay the activity of arginase in sera of women with uterine fibroid..   This study consisted of(50) women with uterine fibroid as patient's group  and (30) healthy women as control group. The age ranged between (30-55) years for the two groups. In this work, samples of Cd2Si1-xGexO4 prepared by powder technology for (x = 0, 0.3, 0.6) were studied. The effect of (Ge) additives at different ratio of Ge (x=0, 0.3, 0.6) on the behavior of dielectric constant, dielectric loss and a,c conductivity were measured as a function of temperature at a selected frequencies (0.01 – 10) MHz in the temperature range 298 K to 473 K. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss obtained different behavior with the additives of (Ge). The activation energy for the electrical conduction process was studied.

In this work, monitoring of monthly variation (from May 2016 to October 2016) in the concentration of the metals (Co, Zn, Cd, Pb, Ni and Fe) from Al-Diwaniya city of Iraq. Investigation about the pollution with these metals was achieved from five selected sites locate in study area by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy. The results showed a wide variation in the levels of heavy metals from site to site and from month to month. A total of 180 surface soil samples were analyzed to detecting the pollution with selected samples.
