تناول هذا البحث الدور الحيوي الذي تؤديه المراكز البحثية في دعم القضايا الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على مركز دراسات المرأة في جامعة بغداد كنموذج تطبيقي. يوضح الباحث أن هذه المراكز لا تقتصر على إنتاج المعرفة النظرية، بل تسهم بشكل مباشر في معالجة التحديات المجتمعية، من خلال تقديم رؤى تحليلية ومقترحات عملية لصناع القرار. كما ويسلط الضوء على مساهمة مركز دراسات المرأة في تعزيز المشاركة السياسية للمرأة العراقية، خاصة في ظل نظام الكوتا الذي يضمن تمثيلًا نسائيًا بنسبة 25% في البرلمان. وقد أشار إلى أن المركز لعب دورًا مهمًا في تحليل النظام الانتخابي العراقي وتقديم توصيات تهدف إلى تحسين تمثيل المرأة في الحياة السياسية. وناقش البحث دراسة مهمة أعدها المركز بالتعاون مع وزارة التخطيط، تناولت الكُلفة الاقتصادية للعنف ضد المرأة. وقد بيّنت الدراسة أن العنف لا يقتصر على الأذى الجسدي والنفسي، بل يمتد ليشكل عبئًا اقتصاديًا على الدولة والمجتمع، مما يستدعي تدخلًا سياسيًا وتشريعيًا عاجلًا. أخيرًا، أشار البحث إلى أن مركز دراسات المرأة يواجه تحديات كبيرة، أبرزها ضعف التمويل، وقلة التعاون المؤسسي، وصعوبة التأثير المباشر على صناع القرار. ورغم هذه التحديات، فإن المركز يواصل جهوده في تقديم أبحاث نوعية تسهم في دعم قضايا المرأة وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة في العراق. الكلمات المفتاحية المراكز البحثية، القضايا الأجتماعية، مركز دراسات المرأة، المُشاركة السياسية.

The study showed flow rates and the interaction between the settlements served by applying the model of gravity theory to measure depending on the number of the population between city Najaf and the rest of the other settlements served and using three functions of disability, time and cost, as recorded an increase in the interaction index with some settlements like them Kufa, Abbasid and Manathira, while the indicator contrast was in other settlements, either when the application of the gravity model depending on trips and socio-economic characteristics accuracy rate was more pronounced.
