Introduction: The association between acute stroke and
renal function is well known. The aim of this study is to
know which group of patients with acute stroke is more

In this research, a selection of some mineral water was selected on the basis of being the most marketed by the owners of shops in Najaf province, with six types, where daily samples of this water were taken by 50 ml for two months from (1/11/2018 -1/1/2019). The following ions concentrations were measured (Br-, Cl-, F-, NO3-, SO42-, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+), pH and the electrical conductivity were measured and the results were compared with the allowable rates according to the international organizations. This study aimed to determine aminoacyltRAN-synthetase complex interacting multifunctional protein 1 and liver enzymes levels in Iraqi females with stage II breast malignance, and study the effect of chemotherapy (after surgery) on these markers. This study included 50 females patients with stage II breast malignance (before and after surgery and second dose of chemotherapy) attending the Oncology Teaching Hospital in Medical City/ Baghdad, in addition to 20 persons as controller group were chosen without any chronic diseases. Many international studies indicated that the polymorphisms of some genes disturbed the folate homocysteine (Hcy) metabolism and increased the vulnerability to Down syndrome (DS). We aimed to measure the serum levels of folate and Hcy in DS children and compare the levels with age and sex-matched apparently normal healthy children. We also aimed to study the A80G polymorphism of the gene reduced folate carrier (RFC1) in the DS children as a risk factor.
