Background: Arterial stiffness is related with atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease events. Patients with atherosclerotic disease show to have larger diameters, reduced arterial compliance and lower flow velocities. Aim of study : To compare between patients of two age groups with concomitant diseases diabetes and hypertension in regard to intima media thickness and blood flow characteristics in order to estimate the blood perfusion to the brain via the common and internal carotid arteries. Subject and Methods : 40 patients with (diabetic and hypertension) diseases were enrolled , they were classified according to age. Color Doppler and B mode ultrasound was used to determine lumen Diameter (D), Intima – media thickness (IMT), end diastolic velocity (EDV), peak systolic velocity (PSV), Resistive Index (RI), Pulsatility Index (PI), and the flow rate indices were calibrated and calculated . Results:- Results show that the change in the lumen diameter between the old patients group and the younger group were (2.02%) with insignificant (p value >0.05), and the difference in the in intima-media (IMT) thickness between the two age groups (35- 55) and (56-75) are (33.8%) with significant (p value <0.05). The change difference in peak systolic velocity was (-13.29% ) with insignificant (p value >0.05), while the difference in the (EDV) between both age groups was (-38.02%), with significant p value <0.05. Pressure gradient and flow rate have given insignificant difference between both age groups. Conclusion: The intima media is significantly thicker for the old age group than in the younger group. The increased thickness of intima media did not influence the lumen diameter significantly. A clear change in PSV, EDV, RI, and PI was observed which have influenced blood perfusion to the brain.

Cooperation spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks has an analogy to a distributed decision in wireless sensor networks, where each sensor make local decision and those decision result are reported to a fusion center to give the final decision according to some fusion rules. In this paper the performance of cooperative spectrum sensing examines using new optimization strategy to find optimal weight and threshold curves that enables each secondary user senses the spectrum environment independently according to a floating threshold with respect to his local environment. Our proposed approach depends on proving the convexity of the famous optimization problem in cooperative spectrum sensing that stated maximizing the probability of detec

Display my alcoholic extract higher inhibition of the aqueous extract all of the bacteria (Esherichia Coli , Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis). While the inhibition of the aqueous extract bacteria (Streptococcus, Shigelladysenteria) in higher alcoholic extract. However, the bacteria (Klebseillapneumoniae) did not shown any inhibition zone for both aqueous and alcoholic extracts. From the above results,“ it is concluded the antibacterial properties of Clerodendrum against life threatening pathogens”. So,

AgAl alloys was used because of its properties that affect as a good connection materials. TiO2 has been used as a reflecting layer to increase the absorption radiation. The HJ has direct allowed energy gap equal to 3.1 eV. The c-Si/B HJ solar cell yielded has an active area conversion efficiency of 16.4% with an open circuit voltage of (Voc) 0.592V, short circuit current (Isc) of 2.042mA, fill factor (F.F) of 0.682 and % =10.54.
The deprivation Some of the children to exercise some fine motor activities a big problem , as a consequence, this problem plays of the delay in motor development during early childhood , Usually it happens to be the reasons for the lack of the right place to play , and the lack of the presence of the tools needed to play motor, or fear excessive protection by parents for their children as a result of lack of awareness of the importance of physical activity for the child to use his fingertips and fine his muscles . In addition to that small percentage of children spend most of their time in the daily activities and skills of non-motor , Such aswatching television, or play video games or they tend to play computer and mobile but they are

The corrosion inhibition of aluminum alloy 5083 by an environment friendly compound called (8- Hydroxyquinoline) in
acidic and alkaline solutions of pH (2 and 12) respectively were studied using weight loss and polarization techniques.
Also to examine the main and combined effects of the inhibitor concentration, pH, and contact time using factorial
experimental design. Results show that corrosion rate decreased with increasing both inhibitor concentration and
contact time and increased with increasing pH value. The polarization curves show that 8-hydroxyquinoline is a
cathodic inhibitor
