Well-being and prosperous living are among the most significant goals of sustainable development, and development strategies should be directed toward satisfying individuals’ needs and living in happy cities. The research explores the potential for establishing a comprehensive strategy by examining different approaches to urban planning and their impact on individuals’ happiness. The research problem is the absence of a clear, standardized vision for developing cities that satisfy individuals’ needs and promote happiness. The hypothesis suggests exploring urban development strategies for the happiest cities in the world to satisfy individuals’ needs and promote happiness. Relying on the concept of the happy city, sustainability, and individuals’ needs and examining the success of Zurich and Dubai cities, the research aims to explore urban elements within cities that satisfy individuals’ needs and promote happiness and seeks to develop a comprehensive framework for a happy city strategy that can be applied to promote happiness for Iraqi cities using measurable indicators to assess their achievement levels and improve urban well-being. Using a descriptive-analytical and comparative approach, the findings show that sustainable urban design can positively impact individuals’ happiness by satisfying their needs and presents a comprehensive, actionable strategy to develop cities towards happiness relying on built and natural environmental elements that promote sustainable developments and happiness, which are crucial for the practical application of these findings.
As known, all urban areas are submitted to supervision of independent administration and agencies taken the responsibility of full-filling the service function and protecting the environment with limited investment allocated , controlled by several laws and arrangements, that are contradictory to each other , the result , deteriorate the level of provided services in urban areas and different environmental problems apper , In addition to waste of efforts and resources , This required a great interest to urban areas administration . So , this paper gives attention to the basic standards that must take in consideration of urban areas administration , and the constraint that faces the administration agencies in general , to achieve

Among those scientific classifications are the investigations they have written in the science of the principles of legislation, which have established the general evidence and the original rules to which practical legal rulings are referred. Various data were used to identify patterns of land use change and city growth and expansion. The research aims to analyze the impact of the port on the growth of the city, study the urban growth of the city of Umm Qasr and predicting the growth trends, and to identify the most influential factors in this growth. The study dealt with the concepts of urban growth and the factors that characterize the growth of port cities and the current situation of the city. The practical part included the mechanisms used by the researcher to analyze the

This study aims to design and exploring the efficacy of novel nirmatrelvir derivatives as SARS entry inhibitors by adapting a molecular modeling approach combined with theoretical design. The study focuses on the preparation of these derivatives and understanding their effectiveness, with a special focus on their binding affinity to the S protein, which is pivotal for the virus’s access to the host cell. Considering molecular docking aspects in the scope of a study on nirmatrelvir derivatives and S protein, dynamics simulations with 25 nanoseconds of their binding are explored. The study shows that these derivatives might work as effective antivi

The morphological, structural, electrical, and sensing properties of a gas of the prepared thin films were examined. XRD measurements showed that TiO2 films have a polycrystalline structure. AFM analysis showed that these films have a regular structure both before and after doping . The roughness of these films decreased after adding impurities but then the opposite of that took place. The electrical and gas sensing properties of titanium dioxide was also affected after dopin

Show MoreThis research concluded that after what has been presented an analysis of the topics that the process of measuring the level of development and then the development gap is the need to assess the results to set policy and to formulate plans and goals, and to see the development priorities of the place or a particular sector. The purely economic development led to negative effects on the spatial scale and the most important of these effects arise multidimensional social and urban development gaps as well as the economic dimension. So it must exceed the concept of economic framework, to include all dimensions of development spatially and sectorally to provide correct and clear base for planners and development policies and strategies for de

Show MoreUrban morphological approach (concepts and practices) plays a significant role in forming our cities not only in terms of theoretical perspective but also in how to practice and experience the urban form structures over time. Urban morphology has been focused on studying the processes of formation and transformation of urban form based on its historical development. The main purpose of this study is to explore and describe the existing literature of this approach and thus aiming to summarize the most important studies that put into understanding the city form. In this regard, there were three schools of urban morphological studies, namely: the British, the Italian, and the French School. A reflective comparison between t

To achieve this purpose, the researcher has designed a questionnaire containing (31) items, distributed to a sample of (157) teacher (male and female) from the target population.
This research has demonstrated that the level of training needs for middle stage leaders was moderately reported with an arithmetic mean equivalent to (2.42), and a standard deviation of (0.36). Results have shown no significant differences at (α=0.05) in the sample’s expectations of the study’s variables.
The study concludes with a list of recommendations such as working on developing training pro
