potential of sorghum residues alone or in combination with reduced rate of trifluralin
herbicide on weeds in mung bean field. The field experiment was conducted during
2014 season at the Research Farm of Biology Department, College of Science,
Baghdad University by using randomized complete Block design (RCBD) to test the
effect of sorghum residues at rates of 5 and 10 t ha-1 alone or in combination with
reduced doses of trifluralin (30 and 60% of recommended dose) on weeds and mung

In this work we study the influence of the laser pulse energy and ablation time on the aluminum nanoparticles productivity during nanosecond laser ablation of bulk aluminum immersed in liquid.
Aluminum nanoparticles were synthesized by pulsed laser ablation of Al targets in ethanol for 3-8 minutes using the 1064 nm wavelength of a Nd:YAG laser with energies of 300-500 mJ per pulse.The laser energy was varied between 300 and 500 mJ/pulse, whereas the ablation time was set to 5 minutes. The current study aims to find a new plan to manage the water quality of the western part of the Hammar Marsh to reduce the salts that cause problems for the marshes and preserve their environmental life by isolating the southwestern part of the Hammar Marsh by closing the outlet under the railway embankment. The effect of chronic exposure to two different levels of cadmium chloride (CdCl2) 30 ppb and 40 ppb in drinking water for 12 weeks on thyroid function of mature male rabbits was studied.
