The research aims to identify the effect of the inquiry wheel model on the achievement of chemistry among second-grade middle school students in public daytime middle and secondary schools. Umm Al-Qura intermediate school for girls was chosen intentionally, where students were assigned as a research sample affiliated with the Third Rusafa Directorate for the academic year (2024-2025). Two classes of the secondgrade classes were randomly selected, one of which was the first group that studied according to the inquiry wheel model, and the other was the second group that studied according to the traditional method. Equivalence was carried out between the two research groups considering chronological age in months, previous achievement in chemistry, previous information test, and the Raven intelligence test. The research concluded that the two groups were equivalent. As for the research tool, the researchers developed an achievement test consisting of 40 items, 38 objective items, and 2 essay items. The results of research showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of the experimental group, who studied according to the inquiry wheel model, and the average scores of the control group, who studied according to the traditional method, in favor of the experimental group. In light of that, a set of recommendations and conclusions was developed.
The current research aims to determine the impact of the cognitive reconstruction program on the development of psychological hardness among middle school students through the experimental verification of three hypotheses. Methotrexate (MTX) was used for treatment of malignancies and now is widely used in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. In this research the evaluation of the effects of MTX on some liver enzymes and lipid profile was studied. Twenty four adult female mice divided into three groups (8 mice each). The first two groups were treated with MTX while the third group was used as a control. By means of constructing suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient condition is derived for the global asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium of the system. The Hopf bifurcation analysis is carried out. The numerical simulations are used to study the effect of periodic forcing in two different parameters. The results of simulations show that the model under the effects of periodic forcing in two different parameters, with or without phase difference, could exhibit chaotic dynamics for realistic and biologically feasible parametric values.
