Synthesis and biological studies 0fCo(||)،Ni(||)،Cu(||) And Zn(||)complexes with New compound N-(2,3-dioxoindolin-1-yl)_N_methyl benzamide

The tetradentate N2O2 Schiff base ligand, which is produced via the condensation reaction of 2-hydroxynaphthaldehyde with phthalohydrazide, is prepared in this work with a fair yield. The prepared ligand was characterized using a microanalysis technique (C.H.N), UV-vis, FTIR, 1H-,13C-NMR, mass spectrometry, and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). New complexes were synthesized by a reaction between ligand (N'1E,N'2Z)-N'1,N'2-bis((1-hydroxynaphthalen-2yl)methylene)phthalohydrazide and metal chloride of Co+2, Ni+2, and Zn+2 ions in absolute ethanol. The study includes the epipelic algae in Hemren reservoir, for the period between Januarys to October 2000 .The samples were collected from three selected sites at north, middle and south of reservoir. A total of 96 taxa of epipelic algae were identified. The diatoms were the dominated by 82 taxa represented 85.4% of the total identified species, followed by blue-green algae (cyanophyta) of 6.3 taxa (6%), and then green algae (chlorophyta) of 5.2 taxa (5%). One species was recorded for each crysophyta, euglenophyta and pyrrophyta. The seasonal variation for the cell density showed two peaks during spring and autumn seasons. This work comprises the synthesis of new phenoxazine derivatives containing N-substituted phenoxazine starting from phenoxazine (1). Synthesis of ethyl acetate phenoxazine (2) through the reaction of phenoxazine with ethylchloroacetate, which reacted with hydrazine hydrate to give 10-aceto hydrazide phenoxazine (3), then reacted with formic acid to give 10-[N-formyl acetohydrazide] phenoxazine (4). Reaction of compound (4) with phosphorous pentaoxide or phosphorus pentasulphide to gave 10-[N-methylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole] phenoxazine (5) and 10-[N-methylene-1,3,4-thiadiazole] phenoxazine (6).
