Kiffil Shinafiya project was selected as it’s been conducted and covering the areas of grain crops agriculture in Najaf and Qadissiya provinces. Lands of this project are considered as a part of the Mesopotamian plain located in between N32⁰ 15′, N31⁰ 30′ and E44⁰ 44’, E44⁰ 20′. Three hydrosequences were disclosed with three transects (T1, T2, T3) in the area of study. The first hydrosequence was perpendicular on the other two sequences. Fifteen pedons were outcropped, five pedons in each transect in addition to eighteen more surface samples to be a total samples of 33 locations. Pedons were morphologically described due to soil survey manual (Soil Survey Staff, 2017). Spatial distribution of soil salinity showed that the

Background: this study aimed to evaluate the effect of addition of hydroxyapatite micro filler in three concentrations (5%, 10%, 15%) on surface roughness, impact strength, flexural strength and hardness. Material and methods: One hundred sixty acrylic samples were used in this study,40 samples were used for each test(impact strength ,flexural strength ,hardness and surface roughness). The test group divided into four subgroups(n=10) for controlgroup,5%,10% ,15%H,A.concentration addition groups .Impact testing device, flexural strength testing device, shore hardness tester and profilometer device were used to measure the four tests examined in this study. Results: the results showed a significant increase in impact strength, hardness in all

This study was designed to improve the impact strength and transverse strength of heat cure acrylic resin by adding untreated and oxygen plasma treated polypropylene fibers and investigate the effect of this additive on some properties of acrylic resin materials. Materials and methods: Untreated and oxygen plasma treated polypropylene fibers was added to PMMA powder by weight 2.5 %. Specimens were constructed and divided into 5 groups according to the using tests; each group was subdivided

The objective of this work is to carry out theoretical investigation of buckling analysis of composite plates under thermomechanical loads, and experimental investigation under mechanical loads. The analytical investigation involved certain mathematical preliminaries, a study of equations of orthotropic elasticity for classical laminated plate theory (CLPT), higher order shear deformation plate theory (HSDT) , and numerical analysis (Finite element method), then the equation of motion are derived and solved using Navier method and Levy method for symmetric and anti-symmetric cross-ply and angle-ply laminated plates t

A theoretical treatment of these compounds in gas phase was done using HyperChem.8.7 program. Semi –empirical PM3 method was performed to evaluate the ∆H° ƒ, ∆ Eb and ∆ET for all compounds, also vibration frequencies, electronic spectra and electrostatic potential HOMO and LUMO energies for the ligand was estimated to de

The ligands and the metal chlorides were brought in to reaction at room temperature in(v/v) ethanol /water as solvent containing NaOH. The reaction required the following [(metal: 2(Na Leu --): (SMX )] molar ratios with M(II) ions, Were M ( Mn ( II),Co (II),Ni(II),Cu( II),Zn (II),Cd(II)and Hg( The UV Vis and magnetic moment data revealed an octahedral geometry around M(II), The conductivity data show a non electrolytic nature of the complexes . Show MoreThis research investigated the effect of adding two groups of reinforcement materials, including bioactive materials Hydroxyapatite (HA) and halloysite nanoclay and bioinert materials Alumina (AL2O3) and Zirconia (ZrO2), each of them with various weight ratios (1,2,3,4 &5)% to the polymer matrix PMMA. The best ratios were selected, and then a hybrid was preparing Composite red from the best ratios from each group. Thermal properties, including thermal conductivity and Thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) technology, have been studied. The results showed that adding 3% Hydroxyapatite (HA) and 5% halloysite nanoclay to the polymethacrylate (PMMA) mer leads to an increase in thermal conductivity. It was also found from the Thermomechanical Analysis
