The research aims at identifying the level of imaginative thinking skills in mathematics among fourth scientific grade students.For this purpose, the researcher adopted the descriptive (survey) approach, as an imaginative thinking test was built and applied to the research sample that consists of (301) students from fourth scientific grade students who are distributed to secondary and Preparatory schools,they are Al-Furat Preparatory, Al-Hindiya Preparatory school and Al-Rajiba Preparatory school , who are affiliated to the Al-Hindiya Education Department of the General Directorate in the Holy Karbala Governorate for the academic year (2021-2022). The imaginative thinking test consisted of (36) items of four alternatives multiple-choice objective test, where its validity and reliability were verified and it was acceptable. The test was applied in the final form, the researchers used the statistical package (SPSS), and the results showed that the research sample possessed imaginative thinking skills.
The present research aims at identifying the relationship between intuitive thinking and mental alertness. The current study aims to identify the resilience of university students, as well as identify the differences in resilience according to the variable of gender and specialization. The research sample consisted of (382) students studying at Baghdad University. To measure Resilience, a questionnaire of (48) items was designed to collect the needed data. The results showed that the students of the University of Baghdad possess resilience. There are no differences in resilience according to gender and specialization.

Emotional competence, is relatively a new concept, stands for the ability of people to perceive their feelings and emotions, and sharing them with others. It also refers to capability in optimizing these feeling and emotions, and managing them over various situations. Thus, this study aims to examine the efficiency of counseling program in developing an emotional competence among intermediate school students in Baghdad city. The sample included group of female students at intermediate stage. The findings revealed none of experimental and control groups have statistically significant differences in pre-posttests of emotional competence efficiency.
The study aimed to investigate the effect of using the intructional computer individually or through the cooperative groups on the achievement of the ninth grade students in mathematics compared to the traditional method. The experimental method adapted three groups out of three schools were chosen, two groups of the students where applied the computer method. The comtrol group used the simple random method, and it used the diagnostic test as tool for the study.The result showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental groups and the control group on the post-test for the two experimental groups.
