In diabetes, impaired wound healing and other tissue abnormalities are considered major concerns. Many factorsaffect the time and quality of wound healing. One of the purposes of medical sciences is wound healing in a short time withreduced side effects. The herbal products are more precious in both prophylaxis as well as curative in delayed diabetic woundhealing activity when compared to synthetic drugs.A wide range of evidence has shown that capers plant possesses differentbiological effects, including antioxidant, anticancer and antibacterial effects. Phytochemical analysis shows thatC. spinosahashigh quantities of bioactive constituents, including polyphenolic compounds, which are responsible for its health-promotingeffects. The healing response emerges subsequently to cells exposure to alarm signals once the skin barrier is disrupted. Thisresponse is ultimately commanded by growth factors (GFs), which act as soluble messengers, establishing a communicationnetwork among the different cells populations and with the extracellular matrix. EGF is produced by platelets, macrophages andfibroblasts and has a paracrine impact on keratinocytes. The expression of EGF at the wound site is highest during activeepithelialization and wound contraction and stimulates the development of granulation tissue.Assessment of immunohistochemicallocalization of EGFin skin wound treated byCapparis spinosa flavonoid extract in alloxan-induced diabetic rats.A total of 30healthy maleWistar rats weighing approximately 250-300 gm were used in this study. A surgical incisional wound with fullskin thickness of 1.5 cm length were done on facial skin of each rat, they were randomly divided into following groups: GroupA: (10 healthy rats) received daily local application of the plant extract. Group B: (10 alloxan-induced diabetic rats) receiveddaily local application of extract of the plant material. Group C: (10 alloxan –induced diabetic rats) where normal saline wasapplied locally instead of plant extract. Scarification of all animals was done for the healing periods (3 and 7 days), andspecimens were prepared for immunohistochemical analysis. The results revealed highest percentage of EGF stromal andepidermal expression noticed in groupA, and in group B respectively at day 7 withhighly significant differene between stromaand epiderms in groups B and C. Results obtained in this study showed that flavonoid rich extract ofCapparis spinosaenhanceswound healing process in diabetic rats (1) (PDF) IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL EVALUATION OF EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR EXPRESSION IN SKIN WOUND TREATED BY CAPPARIS SPINOSA FLAVONOID EXTRACT IN ALLOXAN INDUCED DIABETES RATS. The combined effects of glycemic dysregulation, dyslipidemia, and cellular stress responses lead to increased expression of glucose-regulated protein-78 (GRP-78), a key mediator in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) development. Due to its involvement in glucose and lipid metabolism, GRP-78 is considered a potential therapeutic biomarker. This study aimed to assess the impact of various antidiabetic medications on GRP-78 levels in individuals with T2DM. A cross-sectional study comprised 134 participants: 96 T2DM patients who were divided into patients under treatment with glucovance 500 (n=38), or insulin injection (n=42), and newly diagnosed diabetic patients (n=16). A control group of 38 healthy subjects were enrolled. Serum levels G

Green synthesis with broccoli offers an environmentally friendly way to produce stable and biocompatible nanomaterials. In this study, Brassica oleracea aqueous extract served as both the reducing and capping agent, producing AuNPs with a characteristic surface plasmon resonance peak at 560 nm and a well-defined cubic crystalline structure confirmed by XRD. TEM analysis showed uniformly dispersed, semi-spherical nanoparticles with an average size of 7.5 ± 3.6 nm. The biosynthesized AuNPs exhibited potent antioxidant activity, achieving 91.2 % DPPH scavenging at 100 µg/

Pro-inflammatory cytokines can be produced as a result of this illness. Tumor necrosis factor-a is one of these pro-inflammatory cytokines. Materials and Methods. Blood sample were collected from 180 Iraqi participants. Ninety of them is type 1 diabetic patients and other 90 is healthy control .both groups were tested for the incidence of Coxsackie virus B IgG. So the patients groups is divided to two groups according to sero positivity of CVB-IgG .all 180 patients tested to measure of level of TNF-α. Results. The Results showed increasing in levels of TNF-α in CBV po

Polymorphisms of the CYP2C19 gene can cause a reduction or complete loss of CYP2C19 enzyme activity resulting in inhibiting clopidogrel metabolism, effectiveness and increase stroke recurrence risk in ischemic stroke patients. This study aims to investigate the correlation between genetic polymorphisms in CYP2C19*2 and*3 and recurrent risk in patients with ischemic stroke taking clopidogrel 75mg in Kurdistan region –Iraq. This retrospective case-control study was carried out at Kurdistan, Erbil, Medicina medical center, and Rizgary general hospital from January 2021 to

Show MoreThe present study aimed to investigate the anatomy, histology, and immunohistochemistry of parathyroid gland in two Iraqi mammals (Weasel, Herpestes javanicus and Long-ear hedgehog, Hemiechinus auritus) as a comparative study. A total of (20) animal for each species were used in the present study. Animals collected were immediately anesthesia and dissected to get the parathyroid gland. Methods of Humason and Bancroft and Stevens were employed for histological techniques. Different stains were used (Hematoxylin- Eosin stain-(H & E), Periodic Acid Schiff stain-(PAS), Azan stain, and Methyl Blue stain-(MB)) for staining the histological sections. Anti-calcitonin, code140778 marker used for immune-histochemical study. Results of the present stu

There are several diverse methods, including chemical, physical, and green biological methods, to prepare iron oxide nanoparticles. The green method was chosen because it is safer, purer, and less toxic compared to other methods. Therefore, the green method is a promising and environmentally friendly method in the near future. The aqueous extract of Iraqi orange leaves was used to prepare nano iron oxide, it was examined structurally and spectrally by several techniques (X-ray diffraction- XRD, Fourier transform infrared - FT-IR, field emission scanning electron micr

Rate theory function parameters, (RTFP), were estimated theoretically from exponential function parameters, (EFP), to experimental data of crack velocity versus stress intensity factor ,(V-K) diagram, to creep crack propagation . Also (RTFP) were estimated theoretically from (EFP) to experimental data of (V-?K) diagram to fatigue crack propagation. Temperature effect with (RTFP) was discussed. Crack velocity function denoted with stress intensity factor and temperature degrees has been determined to fatigue and creep crack propagation theoretically and comparative results this function with experimental data of (V-K or ?K) diagram .
The main theme of this thesis could be divided into three objectives : The first is to define and classify integral equations with one and multiple delay, including Fredholm, Volterra and integro-differential equations (Retarded, Neutral and Mixed types). While the second and popular objective of this work is to study the inverse problems related to delay integral equations by using non-classical variational formulation method. Some examples are given for each of the discussed type of delay integral equations. Also, a study to the direct and inverse problems related to integral equations with multiple delay, also considered as a third objective. Several examples are given for each type of these equations. Finally, the suggested approach
