In diabetes, impaired wound healing and other tissue abnormalities are considered major concerns. Many factorsaffect the time and quality of wound healing. One of the purposes of medical sciences is wound healing in a short time withreduced side effects. The herbal products are more precious in both prophylaxis as well as curative in delayed diabetic woundhealing activity when compared to synthetic drugs.A wide range of evidence has shown that capers plant possesses differentbiological effects, including antioxidant, anticancer and antibacterial effects. Phytochemical analysis shows thatC. spinosahashigh quantities of bioactive constituents, including polyphenolic compounds, which are responsible for its health-promotingeffects. The healing response emerges subsequently to cells exposure to alarm signals once the skin barrier is disrupted. Thisresponse is ultimately commanded by growth factors (GFs), which act as soluble messengers, establishing a communicationnetwork among the different cells populations and with the extracellular matrix. EGF is produced by platelets, macrophages andfibroblasts and has a paracrine impact on keratinocytes. The expression of EGF at the wound site is highest during activeepithelialization and wound contraction and stimulates the development of granulation tissue.Assessment of immunohistochemicallocalization of EGFin skin wound treated byCapparis spinosa flavonoid extract in alloxan-induced diabetic rats.A total of 30healthy maleWistar rats weighing approximately 250-300 gm were used in this study. A surgical incisional wound with fullskin thickness of 1.5 cm length were done on facial skin of each rat, they were randomly divided into following groups: GroupA: (10 healthy rats) received daily local application of the plant extract. Group B: (10 alloxan-induced diabetic rats) receiveddaily local application of extract of the plant material. Group C: (10 alloxan –induced diabetic rats) where normal saline wasapplied locally instead of plant extract. Scarification of all animals was done for the healing periods (3 and 7 days), andspecimens were prepared for immunohistochemical analysis. The results revealed highest percentage of EGF stromal andepidermal expression noticed in groupA, and in group B respectively at day 7 withhighly significant differene between stromaand epiderms in groups B and C. Results obtained in this study showed that flavonoid rich extract ofCapparis spinosaenhanceswound healing process in diabetic rats (1) (PDF) IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL EVALUATION OF EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR EXPRESSION IN SKIN WOUND TREATED BY CAPPARIS SPINOSA FLAVONOID EXTRACT IN ALLOXAN INDUCED DIABETES RATS. This study has contributed to identify convenience of the land Usifiya of Mahmudiya district baghdad province for the cultivation of sensitive and salt resisting crops and growing pasture .The nine pedons (tracks) of the study have spread over three transects to cover the whole area the north, middle and south .
Depending on Visual Space tupe (TM) for 2007 which is super classified, samples are distributed on all classes of land cover
It is detected the presence of nine series soils namely
MM5- MW96- DM 115 for 1st transect
MF12- DM46 - DM96 for 2nd transect
DM56- DF56 - MW5 for 3rd transect
Soils are classified to the level of sub great group according to (soil Survey Staff) to :
*Typic Torri Fluvents , Typic Haplos
Background Alloys with the addition of zirconium and niobium eliminate the adverse effects of aluminum and vanadium on the nervous system, the possibility of metallosis and the initiation of diseases (including cancers or Alzheimer›s disease). In addition, they have better corrosion resistance, and a Young›s modulus value similar to longitudinal bone tissue. Therefore, only choosing appropriate materials does not guarantee proper functioning of the implants, the surfaces of the implants also have to be suitable to meet the requirements. The laser surface hardening process modifies the surface properties by imparting microstructural changes, whereas surface remelting induces changes in the surface topography, roughness, wettability and w

One of these procedures is the implementation of the rationing system (a period of the irrigation followed by a period of the dry). This system can have an impact on the properties of irrigation channels. Therefore, the study of rationing system for irrigation channels is important in both water resources and civil engineering, especially if they are constructed with gypseous soil. In order to assess the rationing system on gypseous canals stabilized with a specific ratio of cement, practical experiments were conducted to detect the effect of wetting and drying cycles on the physical and hydraulic behavior of this soil and calculation of some properties of soil such a

Nutrition stress in biofilms affects physiology, microbial metabolism, and species interactions, impacting bacteria growth and survival. Furthermore, the function of alginate, which is encoded by the algD gene, in the production of biofilms has been established. The present study aimed at investigating the impact of starvation on algD gene expression in single-species biofilm of P. aeruginosa and dual-species biofilms of P. aeruginosa and S. aureus from hospital sewage. A total of six P. aeruginosa and six S. aureus isolates were obtained from the microbiology laboratory at the Department of Biology, College of Science, Universit

Such a resistance towards the current antimicrobials leads to the search of novel antimicrobials. Nanotechnology has been promising in different field of science and among it is the use of nanoparticles as antibacterial agents. The gastrointestinal tract seems to be the primary reservoir of uropathogenic E.coli (UPEC) in humans. UPEC strains harbour the urinary tract and cause urinary tract infection. They cause serious ailments in terms of humans. They develop resistance and increase their virulence by forming biofilms. They also show a remarkable locomotory movement with the aid of autoinducer controlled ge

Data of reduction percentage on vegetative growth, roots number, length per plant and their diameter were investigated. Results showed gradual reductions in number of shoots, length and diameter as according to increasing of gamma doses. The reduction percentage in shoot number, length were reached 57.86,70.36 % at 4 kr respectively which have mean number and length per plant reached (9.27 and 55.33 cm) as compared with the control treatment ,While 1 kr caused higher percent in diameter reached 9.69 % with mean of diameter per plant reached 2.57 cm. The practice of feeding could be correlated with eruption stage and nutritional status in infants. Aim of the study: This study aimed to assess the relation of feeding patterns to a selected oral variable (stage of the eruption of primary teeth) and growth parameters among clinically healthy infants. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional comparative study on a sample of (300) infants aged between 6 and 18 months was performed in Karbala City, Iraq. The feeding pattern was investigated using an information sheet ans
