Background: Cancer is rising as a significant global public health concern. The global cancer burden is escalating, exerting considerable physical, emotional, and financial strain on people, families, communities, and healthcare systems. Objective: To explore the challenges faced in cancer management from the perspectives of physicians. Methods: A qualitative study was conducted between November 2024 and February 2025. Physicians were recruited from three different centers in Baghdad and Karbala using purposive and snowball sampling. The data collection was concluded upon reaching a saturation point. Results: This study included twenty-six oncologists. There was about parity between the two genders, with a slight male predominance. Thematic analysis identified seven principal themes. The initial theme addressed limits within the healthcare system, encompassing five subthemes, while the subsequent theme focused on ways for managing treatment shortages, comprising one subtheme. The third theme encompassed communication skills in cancer care, which included three subthemes, while the fourth theme addressed obstacles related to patients' adherence, encompassing four subthemes. The fifth theme was supportive care management, encompassing two subthemes. The sixth theme was the Impact of Challenges on Cancer Care, which encompassed two subthemes. Lastly, the physicians' recommendations encompassed three subthemes. Conclusions: Cancer care is a complicated and changing domain encumbered by various obstacles. Resolving these complex difficulties necessitates a collaborative, interdisciplinary strategy that emphasizes early detection, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional education. More facilities should be available to improve access to treatment.

At present however, it is unclear how prevalent such beliefs are and, what factors are predictive of it. Aim To explore the prevalence of beliefs that annual events such as Christmas (Study 1 UK sample) and Ramadan (Study 2 Iraqi sample) feel like they come around more quickly each year. To establish the association between distortions to the passage of time between annual events and emotional wellbeing, event specific enjoyment, memory function and self-reported attention to time. This technology is one of the most widespread with more than five billion subscriptions making people describe this interaction system as Wireless Intelligence. Mobile phone networks become the focus of attention of researchers, organizations and governments due to its penetration in all life fields. Analyzing mobile phone traces allows describing human mobility with accuracy as never done before. The main objective in this contribution is to represent the people density in specific regions at specific duration of time according to raw data (mobile phone traces). This type of spatio-temporal data named CDR (Call Data Records), which have properties of the time and spatial indications for th

However, with continued investment in research and treatment options, we can make progress towards improving the lives of those with SCD. Over 40% of patients experience painful vaso-occlusive crises (VOCs), so we must work towards finding solutions and providing support for those living with this condition, These episodes, a hallmark of SCD, significantly contribute to morbidity, mortality, and a diminished quality of life, while also incurring substantial healthcare costs. Chronic pain particularly affects older adolescents and adults with SCD, with over half reporting daily discomfort. Opioid-based analgesics, though sti
