In Nathaniel Hawthorn's The Scarlet Letter, love and hate appear as independent powers that consume their holders. In this novel, Nathaniel Hawthorn presents a picture of the Puritans which shows an important part of American history. The Scarlet Letter outlines the American's brief moment of theocracy and extreme social order. Hawthorn is one of the first American writers to explore the hidden motivations of his characters. The Puritans wanted to establish an ideal community in America that can act as a model of influence for what they saw as a corrupted civil and religious order in England. This sense of mission is the core of their religious and social identity. That is why they required a strict moral regulation. The research tackles the fact that: no one is free from sins and evils, but it is man's choice to overcome this evil or to be overcome by it. The investigation is thematic in this research. The focal point is that love and hate are strong human emotions that make people depend upon each other. It shows that Love is the power of giving and healing. The pure love affair between Dimmesdale and Hester has given them the product of their affair named Pearl. The Scarlet Letter is a mixture of a love story, sin and punishment, but, it is a story of how love prevails after all because it is God's reflection in human beings and it is one of God's many ways to live in peace. Hawthorne in some way gives the solution for defeating one's evil and preventing it from turning into a psychological disease.
Some biological aspects of the zebra mussel, Dreissena polymorpha have been studied at Al-Musayab thermal power plant ,sixty km. south west of Baghdad. Data collected during the period extended from November, 2002 to October, 2003 except for the month of April The population consisted of five age groups; O, I, II, III, and IV which have 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 annuli respectively. The study also proved the validity of annuli readings for age and growth determination. The average annual growth rates for age groups O,I, II, III, and IV were 5.7, 5.5, 5.4, 5.2 and 5.4 respectively. The present work includes a design and characteristics study of a controlling the wavelength of high power diode laser by thermoelectric cooler [TEC] . The work includes the operation of the [TEC] to control the temperature of the diode laser between ( 0- +30) °C by changing the resistance of thermistor. We can control a limited temperature of a diode laser by changing the phase cooling between hot and cold faces of the diode, this process can be attempted by comparator type [LM –311] .The theoretical results give a model for controlling the temperature with, the suitable wavelength.

Low-intensity laser irradiation has been explored as an alternative, non-invasive method to encourage chronic wounds to heal. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of low level laser therapy (biostimulation) using semiconductor diode laser with wavelength (785 nm) on the enhancement of chronic wound healing. Fifty patients with chronic wounds were selected to be treated with Low Level Laser Therapy. Their ages ranged between 1 to 76 years. The results of the present work for the mass collision stopping power of electrons in Lung, Urea and Skin are in excellent agreement with the standard results given by ESTAR program, where the maximum percentage error between the present calculated values and that of ESTAR program in Lung tissue, Urea and Skin tissue is 0.27%, 0.3% and 0.8% respectively. The low-frequency oscillations in power system are classified as local mode oscillations, intra-area mode oscillation, and interarea mode oscillations. A suitable PSS model was selected considering the low frequencies oscillation in the inter-area mode based on conventional PSS and Fuzzy Logic Controller. Two types of (FIS) Mamdani and suggeno were considered in this paper. The software of the methods was executed using MATLAB R2015a package.
