Three hundred Iraqi people participated in demographic and attitudes study about red and white meat consumption. The mean age of the participants was 50 SD ± 11 years (mean 30-72); 51% were females and 49% males, mostly in forties who lived ≥ 5 years in Baghdad. Mixed ligand complexes of bivalent metal ions, viz; M= Fe(II),Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd (II), and Hg(II) of the composition Na2[M (Amox)(Sac)3] in 1:1:3 molar ratio, (where Amox = Amoxicillin tryhydrate (C16H19N3O5S.H2O) and Sac = Saccharine(C7H5NO3S) have been synthesized and characterized by repeated melting point determination, Solubility, Molar conductivity, determination the percentage of the metal in the complexes by flame(AAS), FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility measurements and electronic spectral data. The present study aims to detect CTX-M-type ESBL from Escherichia coli clinical isolates and to analyze their antibotic susceptibility patterns. One hundred of E. coli isolates were collected from different clinical samples from a tertiary hospital. ESBL positivity was determined by the disk diffusion method. PCR used for amplification of CTX-M-type ESBL produced by E. coli. Out of 100 E. coli isolates, twenty-four isolates (24%) were ESBL-producers. E. coli isolated from pus was the most frequent clinical specimen that produced ESBL (41.66%) followed by urine (34.21%), respiratory (22.23%), and blood (19.05%).  After PCR amplification of these 24 isolates, 10 (41.66%) isolates were found to possess CTX-M genes.
