This research aims to find a method to synthesize nanoparticles of important metals in the fields of medicine and electronics, with high purity small in size and narrow size distribution. And it characterized by simplicity, efficiency and high productivity. To achieve this aim the effects of laser irradiation on silver and copper colloids prepared by exploding wire technique in double distilled and deionized water (DDDW) have been studied. The laser irradiation was performed using laser radiation fluence about 4 J/cm2 at 532 nm wavelength. Additional irradiation of colloids resulted in the changes of particles morphology, which were monitored by absorption spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy methods. It was found that both

This study focusing on river water quality as a source of raw water, efficiencies of water treatment plants, the goodness of transporting water pipes in the water networks and drinking water quality as consumed within certain city residential sectors, in addition to seasonal variation. The following water quality parameters were studied: Electrical Conductivity, Turbidity, Dissolved oxygen, Biochemical oxygen demand, the concentration of nutrients like nitrogen and phosphate, the residual chlorine in addition to total bacterial count and total colon bacteria of raw water, and treated water of four selected water treatment plants in Mosul city. These plants are : the right united scheme, the new left scheme ,the old left scheme and the Gh

The various instances of reduplicative words in a particular language reflect the richness and uniqueness of that language. Moreover, such variation gives insights into both culture and thought. A reduplicative word is a linguistic phenomenon found in the syntactic, morphological, phonological and semantic levels. The current study aims at investigating the illocutionary force of English reduplicative words in some selected English colloquial utterances. To achieve this aim, an analytical -pragmatic approach has been used by adopting Searle’s (1979)

Methodology: A descriptive correlational design was conducted in the substance use rehabilitation centers at psychiatric teaching hospitals in Baghdad city from November /2021 to May 2022. The instrument of the study was designed by using sociodemographic, the clinical characteristics of the client, the Short-form Alcohol Dependence Data Questionnaire (SADD), Drinking Related Internal-External Locus of Control Scale: (DRIE), and the Stages of Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale (SOCRATES). The data was co

The aim of present study is the effect of growth regulator Gibberellins by using two
concentrations (100, 200) ppm and also Thiamine in two concentrations (10, 50) ppm, on the
some yield component characters and active component of volatile oil Cumin (Cuminum
cyminum L.).
The results showed that GA3 in (100) ppm increased the yield component, protein
concentration and increased in Cuminaldehyde, Perillaldehyde and Thyoml concentration.
The results showed that the best concentration was (50) ppm of Thiamine showed an

This research will cover different aspects of estimating process of construction work in a desert area. The inherent difficulties which accompany the cost estimating of the construction works in desert environment in a developing country, will stem from the limited information available, resources scarcity, low level of skilled workers, the prevailing severe weather conditions and many others, which definitely don't provide a fair, reliable and accurate estimation. This study tries to present unit price to estimate the cost in preliminary phase of a project. Estimations are supported by developing mathematical equations based on the historical data of maintenance, new construction of managerial and school projects.

Rosmarinus officinalis water extracts were studied against Streptococcus mutans,
Lactobacillus acidophilus and Candida albicans isolates two of each isolate. All cold water
extracts exhibited antimicrobial activity against all tested microorganisms. The largest zone of
inhibition was obtained against Candida albicans isolates. Streptococcus mutans isolates and
one isolate of Lactobacillus acidophilus showed no effect in 300mg\ml concentration of
Thymus vulgaris extract, while the same concentration of Rosmarinus officinalis extract had
no effect on all Streptococcus mutans isolates and Lactobacillus acidophilus isolates

This study was designed to show the roles of vitamin D as immune-modulatory agent in serum type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients collected from type II Diabetes Mellitus and controls. They have been classified into two groups as the following: 1) Patients of type II DM group includes (20) individuals from both sexes with age range (35–65) years. 2) Control group: includes (20) healthy individuals from both sexes, with age range (30 – 45) years and no previous disease which may interfere with the parameters analyzed in this research. All the blood samples were analyzed for vitamin D3, albumin, C- reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), immunoglobulins (IgG, IgM, IgA), α1- antitrypsin and to
