Obesity and helicobacter pylori infection in adults with non specific colitis
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p> Background Non specific colitis is defined as inflammatory condition of the colon that when examined microscopically lacks any characteristic features of any specific form of colitis and is commonly seen in reports of colonoscopy biopsies. There are many factors that cause it like obesity and H pylori.</p><p> Aim of the study To determine the association of obesity and H pylori as contributory factors to this disease.</p><p> Patients and methods This is a case-controlled study was carried out in Al-Kindy College of Medicine from January 2017 to June 2018. Sixty individuals were included; forty of them had non specific colitis. The rest were healthy control group. Demographic information's were taken like age and sex. Anthropometric measurement like weight in kilograms (kg), height in meters (m), waist circumference in centimeters (cm), and body mass index was done. H pylori IgG was done to both groups.</p><p> Results Study results indicated that this disease was more common with increasing age, there is a significant difference (p = 0.002) between patients (48.12 ± 1.50) and control group (41.00 ± 1.10) regarding age. BMI of the patients is significantly higher in patients group (29.21 ± 0.41; p = 0.000) than the control (22.23 ± 0.41). Patients with non specific colitis showed significant (p = 0.000) increased in H pylori infection 33 (82.5%) compared with control group 2 (10%).</p><p> Conclusions Obesity and infection withH pylori may predispose to non specific colitis.</p>

The Effect of White Rot Fungus (Ganoderma sp) as Decomposers on Composting Using Combination of Cattle Feces and Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) as Organic Matter
...Show More Authors

In Indonesia, cattle feces (CF) and water hyacinth (WH) plants are abundant but have not been widely revealed. The use of microorganisms as decomposers in the fermentation process has not been widely applied, so researchers are interested in studying further. This study was to evaluate the effect of the combination of CF with WH on composting by applying white-rot fungal (WRF) (Ganoderma sp) microorganism as a decomposer. A number of six types of treatment compared to R1(ratio of CF:WH)(25%:75%)+WRF; R2(ratio of CF:WH)(50%:50%)+WRF; R3(ratio of CF:WH)(75%:25%)+WRF; R4(ratio of CF:WH)(25%:75%) without WRF; R5(ratio of CF:WH)(50%:50%) without WRF; R6(ratio of CF:WH)

Role of ZnO content on the structural, morphology and optical properties of (NiO)1-x (ZnO) x thin films prepared by pulsed laser deposition technique
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>(NiO) 1-x (ZnO) x compounds were prepared with different composition ratios. The compounds were obtained by mixing Nickle oxide and zinc oxide in the appropriate ratio and sintered at 1000°C for six hours. Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method which is simple and inexpensive method was used to deposit (NiO) 1-x (ZnO) x thin films on glass substrate at ambient temperature. Structural, optical and properties were investigated. The structures investigation obtained from x-ray diffraction showed that the prepared of compound as well as thin films have polycrystalline structure where the diffraction peaks w</p> ... Show More

Investigating the Effect of ZnO on the Structural and Optical Properties of (MgO)1-x(ZnO)x via Pulsed Laser Deposition
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>This work concerned with effect of zinc oxide concentrating on the structural and optical properties of (MgO)1-x(ZnO)x thin films. (MgO)1-x(ZnO)x compounds were produced by mixing the two oxides powders accordance to the atomic ratios and compressed as pellets, these pellets were sintered in an oven at temperature1273K for five hours. Thin films from (MgO)1-x(ZnO)x compounds were obtained using pulsed laser deposition technique using Nd:YAG laser . The results of x-ray diffraction as well as UV-Visible- spectrophotometer measurements transmittance of (MgO)<jats></jats></p> ... Show More

New Method for Determination of Molybdenum(VI) through Flow Injection Analysis Via the Consumption of Liberated Oxygen from Reaction System Ammonia-Hydrogen peroxide-Molybdenum(VI) in the Presence of Pyrogallol
...Show More Authors

This piece of research work aims to study one of the most difficult reaction and determination due to continuous and rapid variation of reaction products and the reactants. As molybdenum (VI) aid in the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in alkaline medium of ammomia, thus means a continuous liberation of oxygen which cuases and in a continuous manner a distraction in the measurement process. On this basis pyrogallol was used to absorbe all liberated oxygen and the result is an a clean undisturbed signals. Molybdenum (VI) was determined in the range of 4-100 ?g.ml-1 with percentage linearity of 99.8% or (4-300 ?g.ml-1 with 94.4%) while L.O.D. was 3.5 ?g.ml-1. Interferring ions (cations and anions) were studied and their main effect was red

The study aims at diagnosing the importance of environmental analysis (external, industrial and internal) in the organization's strategy for the development of public organizations. The theoretical problem derived from the existence of a knowledge gap for studies and research that dealt with the variables of the study. Three public organizations were selected as the study society (the Civil Defense Directorate, the Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residency, the General Traffic Directorate). The sample of the study was a sample of (215) managers (managers, department managers, Analysis of the data and hypothesis testing using the appropriate statistical tools, Pearson, the simple and multiple regression coefficient to te
