synthesis and characterization of New schiff base Ligand Derived from 4-amino anti pyrine and it's complexes with some Metal lons and theirAntibacterial studies
Eighteen new cyclic imides (maleimides) conncted to benzothiazole moiety through sulfonamide group were synthesized via multistep synthesis.The first step involved preparation of two maleamic acids N-phenylmaleamic acid and N-benzylmaleamic acid via reaction of maleic anhydride with aniline or benzyl amine.Dehydration of the prepared amic acids by treatment with acetic anhydride and anhydrous sodium acetate in the second step afforded N-phenylmaleimide and N- benzyl maleimide which in turn were treated with chlorosulfonic acid in the third step to afford 4-(N-maleimidyl) phenyl sulfonyl chloride and 4-(N-maleimidyl) benzyl sulfonyl chloride respectively.In the Fourth step of this work each one of the two prepared maleimidyl sulfonyl chlorid

Show MoreGel polymer electrolytes (GPEs) have attracted considerable attention for rechargeable battery applications because of their high ionic conductivity, mechanical flexibility, and enhanced safety. In the present work, copper-ion-conducting PVA/HPMC gel polymer electrolytes were successfully prepared by the solution casting method using a 50:50 PVA/HPMC blend. Different CuSO₄ concentrations (10, 20, and 30 wt%) were incorporated into the polymer matrix, followed by the addition of 3 mL PANI/[BMIM][BF₄] polyionic liquid. The prepared electrolytes were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). On the other hand, we found that the new derivative 4- phenyl- 5( p- amino phenyl) -3- mercapto- 1,2,4- triazole ?111? forms complexes with Cu (II) ion of the ratio 1:1 which absorbs light at 380 nm, with Ni (II) ion of the ratio 3:1 which absorbs light at 358 nm; and with Co (11) ion of the ratio 3.2:1 which absorbs light at 588 nm. The ratio of the complexes were determined by measuring the electronic spe

The synthetic route of B was completed by adopting the Vilsmeier-Haack reaction. This was based on the mixing of 1,1,2-trimethyl-1H-benzo[e]indole with phosphoryl trichloride and N, N-dimethylformamide (anhydrous) that gave the aminomethylenemalondialdehyde. The use of POCl3 and DMF was aimed to give the Vilsmeier-Haack intermediate, which was kept at 5°C and then heated with stirring at 85°C. The addition of an aqueous NaOH solution (35%) to the reaction mixture resulted in the isolation of B. The monomeric coordinated comp

Methods: The derivatives were made using a one-pot reaction with two steps. Initially, succinyl chloride was mixed with KSCN to make succinyl isothiocyanate. Then, primary and secondary amines were used to make TU derivatives. The theoretical studies were done by Swiss ADME and molecular docking via Genetic Optimization of Linkage Docking (GOLD). Then evaluate antioxidant activity using the DPPH scavenging method. Results: FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy show the verification of all the prepared derivatives. Compounds (II), (VIII),

N-benzyl isatins and Schiff bases of isatin analogs have been reported to demonstrate a variety of biological activities. This work illustrates the synthesis of new N-benzylisatin Schiff bases and studies their biological activity. Firstly, Isatin and its analogs; 5-methoxyisatin, 5-fluoroisatin reacted with benzyl iodide to obtain N-benzylated derivatives of isatins 2 (ac). Secondly, these compounds were reacted with different amines (sulphanilamide and 4-methyl sulphonyl aniline) separately, to obtain Schiff bases compounds 3 (ac) and 4 (ac), respectively. The synthesized compounds were characterized by using FT-IR and 1HNMR spectroscopy. The s

reinforced with metal wire and glass fibers.
Methodology: Forty five specimens were prepared from pink heat cure acrylic resin. Specimens were grouped into;
group-I (control group) which consists of 15 specimens with no reinforcement, group-II which consists of 15 specimens
reinforced with metal wire, and group-III consists of 15 specimens reinforced with glass fibers. Specimens were tested
by using charpy impact machine.
Results: The result showed that there was a highly significant difference in impact strength value among the testing
groups at (P < 0.001).

To evaluate the Interaction of Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II),Cu(II), Zn(II) And Cd(II) Mixed- Ligand Complexes of cephalexin mono hydrate (antibiotics) And Furan-2-Carboxylic Acid To The Different DNA Sources. All the metal complexes were observed to cleave the DNA. A difference in the bands of complexes .The cleavage efficiency of the complexes compared with that of the control is due to their efficient DNA-binding ability and the other factors like solubility and bond length between the metal and ligand may also increase the DNA-binding ability. The ligands (Cephalexin mono hydrate (antibiotics) and Furan-2- Carboxylic acid and there newly synthesized metal complexes shows good antimicrobial activities and Binding DNA , thus, can be used
