Thrust blocks and restraint joints are the two most popular methods of counteracting the thrust force that generated at pipe fittings (bends, Tee, wye, reducers, dead ends, etc…). Both systems perform the same function, which is to prevent the joints from separating from the pipes. The aim of the study is to review previous studies and scientific theories related to the study and design of thrust blocks and restraint joints to study the behavior of both systems under thrust force and to study the factors and variables that affect the behavior of these systems. In this work, nonlinear diabetes controlled model with and without complications in a population is considered. The dynamic behavior of diabetes in a population by including a constant control is studied and investigated. The existence of all its possible fixed points is investigated as well as the conditions of the local stability of the considered model are set. We also find the optimal control strategy in order to reduce the number of people having diabetes with complications over a finite period of time. A numerical simulation is provided and confirmed the theoretical results.

In this research, a mathematical model of tumor treatment by radiotherapy is studied and a new modification for the model is proposed as well as introducing the check for the suggested modification. Also the stability of the modified model is analyzed in the last section.

This study aims at investigating the relationship between mindfulness and academic self-efficacy among Northern Border University students. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted the correlative survey method for (97) students. For data collection, the researcher developed a mindfulness scale consisting of (42) items divided into seven topics, each one consisting of six items.
