Recommendation systems are now being used to address the problem of excess information in several sectors such as entertainment, social networking, and e-commerce. Although conventional methods to recommendation systems have achieved significant success in providing item suggestions, they still face many challenges, including the cold start problem and data sparsity. Numerous recommendation models have been created in order to address these difficulties. Nevertheless, including user or item-specific information has the potential to enhance the performance of recommendations. The ConvFM model is a novel convolutional neural network architecture that combines the capabilities of deep learning for feature extraction with the effectiveness of factorization machines for recommendation tasks. The present work introduces a novel hybrid deep factorization machine (FM) model, referred to as ConvFM. The ConvFM model use a combination of feature extraction and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to extract features from both individuals and things, namely movies. Following this, the proposed model employs a methodology known as factorization machines, which use the FM algorithm. The focus of the CNN is on the extraction of features, which has resulted in a notable improvement in performance. In order to enhance the accuracy of predictions and address the challenges posed by sparsity, the proposed model incorporates both the extracted attributes and explicit interactions between items and users. This paper presents the experimental procedures and outcomes conducted on the Movie Lens dataset. In this discussion, we engage in an analysis of our research outcomes followed by provide recommendations for further action.

They monitor and analyze network traffics, looking for abnormal behaviors or attack signatures to detect intrusions in early time. However, many challenges arise while developing flexible and efficient network intrusion detection system (NIDS) for unforeseen attacks with high detection rate. In this paper, deep neural network (DNN) approach was proposed for anomaly detection NIDS. Dropout is the regularized technique used with DNN model to reduce the overfitting. The system's overall efficiency, secure key rate and quantum bit error rate are all significantly influenced by single-photon detection modules. There is a knowledge gap about the practical performance of commercially available single-photon detectors because existing research frequently relies on theoretical characteristics. This paper introduces a study on the effect of the parameters of three commercial single photon detection modules from ID Quantique company: ID Qube, ID100, and ID281 on certain Bennett-Brassard 1984 protocol parameters such as secure key rate, mean photon number per pulse, quantum bit error rate

This will be in great demand since it will be useful for certain individuals who are unable to access some control units that need direct contact with humans. In the beginning, ten volunteers of a wide range of (20-66) participated in this study, and the statistical measurements were first calculated for all eight channels. Then the number of channels was reduced by half according to the activation of brain regions within the utilized protocol and the processing time also decreased. Consequently, four of the participants (three males and one female) were chosen to examine the Simulink model during di

Show MoreThe issue of image captioning, which comprises automatic text generation to understand an image’s visual information, has become feasible with the developments in object recognition and image classification. Deep learning has received much interest from the scientific community and can be very useful in real-world applications. The proposed image captioning approach involves the use of Convolution Neural Network (CNN) pre-trained models combined with Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) to generate image captions. The process includes two stages. The first stage entails training the CNN-LSTM models using baseline hyper-parameters and the second stage encompasses training CNN-LSTM models by optimizing and adjusting the hyper-parameters of

The possible advantage of CUHF, a better result can be achieved when fuzzy c-mean FCM returns incorrect clusters. The proposed approach is conducted in two steps. Firstly, a preprocessing step to decrease the noise presented in ultrasound images by applying the filters: Local Binary Pattern (LBP), median, median and discrete wavelet (DWT), (median, DWT & LBP) and (median & Laplacian) ML. Secondly, implementing Fuzzy C-Mean (FCM) for clustering the resulted images from the first step. Amongst those filters, Median & Lap
