Early Diagnose Alzheimer's Disease by Convolution Neural Network-based Histogram Features Extracting and Canny Edge
...Show More Authors

Alzheimer's disease (AD) increasingly affects the elderly and is a major killer of those 65 and over. Different deep-learning methods are used for automatic diagnosis, yet they have some limitations. Deep Learning is one of the modern methods that were used to detect and classify a medical image because of the ability of deep Learning to extract the features of images automatically. However, there are still limitations to using deep learning to accurately classify medical images because extracting the fine edges of medical images is sometimes considered difficult, and some distortion in the images. Therefore, this research aims to develop A Computer-Aided Brain Diagnosis (CABD) system that can tell if a brain scan exhibits indications of Alzheimer's disease. The system employs MRI and feature extraction methods to categorize images. This paper adopts the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset includes functional MRI and Positron-Version Tomography scans for Alzheimer's patient identification, which were produced for people with Alzheimer's as well as typical individuals. The proposed technique uses MRI brain scans to discover and categorize traits utilizing the Histogram Features Extraction (HFE) technique to be combined with the Canny edge to representing the input image of the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) classification. This strategy keeps track of their instances of gradient orientation in an image. The experimental result provided an accuracy of 97.7% for classifying ADNI images.

The Effect Of Optimizers On The Generalizability Additive Neural Attention For Customer Support Twitter Dataset In Chatbot Application
...Show More Authors

When optimizing the performance of neural network-based chatbots, determining the optimizer is one of the most important aspects. Optimizers primarily control the adjustment of model parameters such as weight and bias to minimize a loss function during training. Adaptive optimizers such as ADAM have become a standard choice and are widely used for their invariant parameter updates' magnitudes concerning gradient scale variations, but often pose generalization problems. Alternatively, Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) with Momentum and the extension of ADAM, the ADAMW, offers several advantages. This study aims to compare and examine the effects of these optimizers on the chatbot CST dataset. The effectiveness of each optimizer is evaluat

EFFECT OF LEAD ACETATE ON HISTOOGICAL FEATURES OF LIVER, SKELETAL MUSCLE AND TESTIS AND SERUM TESTOSTERON LEVEL OF LABORATORY ALBINO MICE Mus musculus.
...Show More Authors

Lead acetate as one of the environmental pollutants can threats the life of living creatures in many ways, it has a long half-life, accumulates mainly in the soft tissue and leads to adverse effects in these tissues. An experiment was conducted to study the effect of oral feeding of lead acetate on histological features of liver, kidney, testis and muscle of albino mice. Mice were treated with 0.05 mg/100 ml lead acetate (LA) for 10 days (group A) and for and for 20 days (group B) and for 30 days (group C). The histological section of liver of mice group A characterized by slightly blurred trabecular structure with foci of hepatitis which increased with cytoplasmic vacules in group B but in group C liver reveal necrosis, heamorrhage,

Occlusal features, perception of occlusion and orthodontic treatment need and demand among 13 years aged Baghdadi students Part II: (Cross sectional epidemiological study)
...Show More Authors

Background: The present study aimed to assess the distribution, prevalence, severity of malocclusion in Baghdad governorate in relation to gender and residency Materials and Methods: A multi-stage stratified sampling technique was used in this investigation to make the sample a representative of target population. The sample consisted of 2700 (1349 males and 1351 females) intermediate school students aged 13 years representing 3% of the total target population. A questionnaire was used to determine the perception of occlusion and orthodontic treatment demand of the students and the assessment procedures for occlusal features by direct intraoral measurement using veriner and an instrument to measure the rotated and displaced teeth. Background: Helicobacter pylori are important gastrointestinal pathogen associated with gastritis, peptic ulcers, and an increased risk of gastric carcinoma. There are several popular methods for detection of H. pylori (invasive and non-invasive methods) each having its own advantages, disadvantages, and limitations, and by using PCR technique the ability to detect H. pylori in saliva samples offers a potential for an alternative test for detection of this microorganism. Materials and methods: The study sample consists of fifty participants of both genders, who undergo Oesophageo-gastrodudenoscopy at the Gastroenterology Department of Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital Baghdad/ Iraq, during five months period from January 2014 to May 2014. Abstract<p>The major objective of this study is to establish a network of Ground Control Points-GCPs which can use it as a reference for any engineering project. Total Station (type: Nikon Nivo 5.C), Optical Level and Garmin Navigator GPS were used to perform traversing. Traversing measurement was achieved by using nine points covered the selected area irregularly. Near Civil Engineering Department at Baghdad University Al-jadiriya, an attempt has been made to assess the accuracy of GPS by comparing the data obtained from the Total Station. The average error of this method is 3.326 m with the highest coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.077 m observed in Northing. While in</p> ... Show More

Generative Adversarial Network for Imitation Learning from Single Demonstration
...Show More Authors

Imitation learning is an effective method for training an autonomous agent to accomplish a task by imitating expert behaviors in their demonstrations. However, traditional imitation learning methods require a large number of expert demonstrations in order to learn a complex behavior. Such a disadvantage has limited the potential of imitation learning in complex tasks where the expert demonstrations are not sufficient. In order to address the problem, we propose a Generative Adversarial Network-based model which is designed to learn optimal policies using only a single demonstration. The proposed model is evaluated on two simulated tasks in comparison with other methods. The results show that our proposed model is capable of completing co

Handling Mobility with Network Virtualization in IoT WAVE Context
...Show More Authors

Realizing robust interconnectivity in a rapidly changing network topology is a challenging issue. This problem is escalating with the existence of constrained devices in a vehicular environment. Several standards have been developed to support reliable communication between vehicular nodes as the IEEE 1609 WAVE stack. Mitigating the impact of security/mobility protocols on limited capability nodes is a crucial aspect. This paper examines the burden of maintaining authenticity service that associated with each handover process in a vehicular network. Accordingly, a network virtualization-based infrastructure is proposed which tackles the overhead of IEEE 1906 WAVE standard on constrained devices existed in vehicular network. The virtualized

Performance Analysis of xPON Network for Different Queuing Models
...Show More Authors

Passive optical network (PON) is a point to multipoint, bidirectional, high rate optical network for data communication. Different standards of PONs are being implemented, first of all PON was ATM PON (APON) which evolved in Broadband PON (BPON). The two major types are Ethernet PON (EPON) and Gigabit passive optical network (GPON). PON with these different standards is called xPON. To have an efficient performance for the last two standards of PON, some important issues will considered. In our work we will integrate a network with different queuing models such M/M/1 and M/M/m model. After analyzing IPACT as a DBA scheme for this integrated network, we modulate cycle time, traffic load, throughput, utilization and overall delay
