Exploring Important Factors in Predicting Heart Disease Based on Ensemble- Extra Feature Selection Approach

Heart disease is a significant and impactful health condition that ranks as the leading cause of death in many countries. In order to aid physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, clinical datasets are available for reference. However, with the rise of big data and medical datasets, it has become increasingly challenging for medical practitioners to accurately predict heart disease due to the abundance of unrelated and redundant features that hinder computational complexity and accuracy. As such, this study aims to identify the most discriminative features within high-dimensional datasets while minimizing complexity and improving accuracy through an Extra Tree feature selection based technique. The work study assesses the efficacy of several classification algorithms on four reputable datasets, using both the full features set and the reduced features subset selected through the proposed method. The results show that the feature selection technique achieves outstanding classification accuracy, precision, and recall, with an impressive 97% accuracy when used with the Extra Tree classifier algorithm. The research reveals the promising potential of the feature selection method for improving classifier accuracy by focusing on the most informative features and simultaneously decreasing computational burden.

Inner Tube of AL-Diwanyia Tyre Based on Natural Rubber Blends

Most tubes are made from butyl rubbers, but certain types, such as giant tubes, are based on natural rubber because very high green strength is required when handling the uncured compound. By using blends of natural rubber (NR) and brominated butyl rubber (BIIR), it is possible to maintain high green strength in the uncured compound and improve impermeability and heat resistance of the cured tube.  The best formulations are obtained in the presence of 50 phr of (BIIR) to achieve desired mechanical properties. Improved impermeability was obtained by using 50 and 75 phr of (BIIR) rubber in compounds. Blending of brominated butyl rubber (BIIR) with natural rubber (NR) enhances air retention with acceptable sacrifices in green strength.

Image Compression based on Adaptive Polynomial Coding of Hard & Soft Thresholding

In this paper, an adaptive polynomial compression technique is introduced of hard and soft thresholding of transformed residual image that efficiently exploited both the spatial and frequency domains, where the technique starts by applying the polynomial coding in the spatial domain and then followed by the frequency domain of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) that utilized to decompose the residual image of hard and soft thresholding base. The results showed the improvement of adaptive techniques compared to the traditional polynomial coding technique.

Analysis of structural concrete bar members based on secant stiffness methods
