A reseach is carried out by using Alumina material type α-Al2O3 which has partical size 63μm doped with different percentage weight of MgO (0.1%,0.3%and0.5%) and by using dry press method to prepare the samples ,A force press 50KN used and sintering to 1500oC with   soaking time  of  6 hours.        The physical properties were studied such as "Bulk density ,Porosity and water absorption "also the mechanical properties such as (hardness,compressive strength ), the result shows that the best ratio of maginsa(MgO) added to Alumina (Al2O3)is 0.5%and this  worked to improve   Physical and mechanical properties .

Samples prepared by using carbon black as a filler material and phenolic resin as a binder. The samples were pressed in a (3) cm diameter cylindrical die to (250)MPa and treated thermally within temperature range of (600-1000)oC for two and three hours. The effects of three different additives formulations namely Lubrizol 21001, HiTEC 8722B and HiTEC 340 on the efficiency of VII namely OCP of three base lubricating oils namely 40 stock and 60 stock and 150 stock at four temperatures 40, 60, 80 and 100oC were investigated. In this paper a thin films of selenium was prepare on substrates of n-Si by evaporation in a vacuum technique with thickness about 0.5μm. And then an annealing process was done on samples at two temperature (100 and 200) C ° in a vacuum furnace (10^-3 torr).
Some structural, optical and mechanical properties of prepared thin films were measured. Results showed that the prepared film was the crystallization, optical transmittance and micro hardness of the prepared thin films increased significantly after annealing.
