In this research investigation, a total of eighteen diverse tetra- and penta-lateral cyclic compounds were synthesized. The present article discusses the synthesis of tetradentate Schiff base complexes formed by the condensation reaction of 2-hydroxy benzaldehyde and phthalohydrazide.
