Thyroid disease is a common disease affecting millions worldwide. Early diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disease can help prevent more serious complications and improve long-term health outcomes. However, thyroid disease diagnosis can be challenging due to its variable symptoms and limited diagnostic tests. By processing enormous amounts of data and seeing trends that may not be immediately evident to human doctors, Machine Learning (ML) algorithms may be capable of increasing the accuracy with which thyroid disease is diagnosed. This study seeks to discover the most recent ML-based and data-driven developments and strategies for diagnosing thyroid disease while considering the challenges associated with imbalanced data in thyroid disease predictions. A systematic literature review (SLR) strategy is used in this study to give a comprehensive overview of the existing literature on forecasting data on thyroid disease diagnosed using ML. This study includes 168 articles published between 2013 and 2022, gathered from high-quality journals and applied meta-analysis. The thyroid disease diagnoses (TDD) category, techniques, applications, and solutions were among the many elements considered and researched when reviewing the 41 articles of cited literature used in this research. According to our SLR, the current technique's actual application and efficacy are constrained by several outstanding issues associated with imbalance. In TDD, the technique of ML increases data-driven decision-making. In the Meta-analysis, 168 documents have been processed, and 41 documents on TDD are included for observation analysis. The limits of ML that are discussed in the discussion sections may guide the direction of future research. Regardless, this study predicts that ML-based thyroid disease detection with imbalanced data and other novel approaches may reveal numerous unrealised possibilities in the future
This paper aims to give an overview of acculturation in the literature by means of its explicit definitions, main characteristics, and categorical process. It also foreshadows the significance of acquiring novice culture with particular connection to second language acquisition. Schumann and John Berry underscored acculturation each with its own model of acculturation. In the case of this review, you will realize that Schumann's two main aspects are firmly rooted in berry's model of acculturation as an exclusive description in relation to second language acquisition. Steven Krashen outlined acquiring language from the intellectual and linguistic view of learning, whereas Micheal Long demanded for communication in social perspective. It has

The transmitting and receiving of data consume the most resources in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The energy supplied by the battery is the most important resource impacting WSN's lifespan in the sensor node. Therefore, because sensor nodes run from their limited battery, energy-saving is necessary. Data aggregation can be defined as a procedure applied for the elimination of redundant transmissions, and it provides fused information to the base stations, which in turn improves the energy effectiveness and increases the lifespan of energy-constrained WSNs. In this paper, a Perceptually Important Points Based Data Aggregation (PIP-DA) method for Wireless Sensor Networks is suggested to reduce redundant data before sending them to the

This review aimed to identify the favorable pathways of neurogenic inflammation and neurogenic differentiation of DPSCs in the pulpal healing process. Also, to identify the techniques used to evaluate these inflammatory and differentiation processes. Both PubMed and Google Scholar databases were employed in the search strategy using keyword combinations based on MeSH terms. The search was performed for published articles in English from January 2014 to November 2024, including studies with histological and molecular findings. 29 articles only met the inclusion criteria. Show MoreMetasurface polarizers are essential optical components in modern integrated optics and play a vital role in many optical applications including Quantum Key Distribution systems in quantum cryptography. However, inverse design of metasurface polarizers with high efficiency depends on the proper prediction of structural dimensions based on required optical response. Deep learning neural networks can efficiently help in the inverse design process, minimizing both time and simulation resources requirements, while better results can be achieved compared to traditional optimization methods. Hereby, utilizing the COMSOL Multiphysics Surrogate model and deep neural networks to design a metasurface grating structure with high extinction rat

Some of these trends are the development of individual thinking skills, considering the individual differences, and learning basic skills. The five-year learning cycle is one of these models. It is called as five-year learning cycle because it passes through five stages. These five stages are: (operate - discover - clarify - expand – Evaluate), which make the learner as the main axis for activating thinking processes. This can be done by organizing study materials through research, investigation, and identifying concepts by himself, as in learning sports skills that depend on motor performance and teamwork,

To investigate the impact of different concentrations of glycol on the performance of a diesel engine, an experimental water-cooled four-stroke motor was utilized, with oil containing 0, 100, and 200 parts per million (ppm). Specific fuel consumption, thermal efficiency, friction power, and exhaust gas temperature were examined as performance indicators. To compare the significance of the treatments, the study employed a full randomization des
