An experiment is conducted to determine the effect of magnetic water on the production performance and blood characteristics of common quail, Coturnix coturnix (Linnaeus, 1758). The experimental treatments included T1 = control treatment, T2 = drinking water magnetization at1000 gauss, T3 = drinking water magnetization at 1500 gauss, T4 = diet sprayed with magnetized water 1000 gauss, T5 = diet sprayed with magnetized water 1500 gauss, each treatment with three replicates. The research aims to identify the effect of teaching-learning design based on the constructivism theory on the life skills of middle stage students. The sample consisted of (60) students from one of the middle schools in Baghdad's governorate. The experimental group and control group consisted of 30 students for each group, the research tool was the life skills scale composed of (78) items. The scale proved its validity and reliability, which was found to be (0.85). The results showed a statistically significant difference in life skills between the two groups of research in favor of the experimental group, which studied the educational design according to models of constructivism theory compared to the usual method of teaching.

This paper includes simulating an electron gun design to investigate the effect of the distance between the cathode and the Wehnelt cylinder bore on the quality of the ion beam emittance and to obtain the best distance of that geometrical factor. A study of a group of designs was conducted to find this distance. The SIMION8.0 program has been used to calculate the trajectories of the electrons with initial kinetic energy of (0.1 eV) and electron current of (1×10-12 A). The investigation also includes comparisons between the equipotential line trajectories for each design as well as the field distribution and the electron trajectories. The best emittance distance was concluded to be (3 mm).
