An experiment was conducted in the plastic house of the Botanical Garden in the Department of Biology, College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham), University of Baghdad during one growth season. Four metal complexes mixed ligand of 2-aminophenol (2-AP) and tributylphosphine (PBu3) were produced in aqueous ethanol with (1:2:2) (M:2-AP:PBu3). The prepared complexes were identified by using flame atomic absorption, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. In addition antibacterial activity of the two ligands and mixed ligand complexes oboist three species of bacteria were also examined. The ligands and their complexes show good bacterial activities. This new azo dye 7-(3-hydroxy-phenylazo)-quinoline-8-ol was subsequently used to prepare a series of complexes with the chlorides of Fe, Co, Zn, Ru, Rh and Cd. In this work, a composite material was prepared from Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) with different weight percent of grain and calcinations kaolin at temperature of (850^oC) using single screw extruder and a mixing machine operated at a temperature between (190-200^oC). The isolated were identified by using morphological, cultural and biochemical tests. this study aimed to study the effect of Cordia myxa extract on the growth and activities of the following types of bacteria : Escherichia coli , Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus Spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae , Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes , Bacillus subtilus, and the yeast Candida albicans .the results showed an inhibitory effect of the methanol extract on both the growth and activity of the tested microbes .this was reflected by the minimum inhibitory concentration ( MIC ) of different type of bacteria and the yeast.
