تعد السياحة احد مستلزمات الحضارة الحديثة لما تفرزه من آثار ايجابية ودور متميز في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتقليل نسبة البطالة وتنشيط الحركة التجارية بين البلدان، اذ لا يمكن ان نتصور وجود بلد متحضر بلا فنادق ولا سياحة وتقديم مختلف السلع والخدمات سياحية التي يمكن ان تسبع الحاجات والرغبات واذواق السياح من خلال  وجود منشآت سياحية تعكس النمط السياحي القائم على اختلاف انواعه

Trace Elements (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni) level were examined in hair of donors from industrial areas, cities and village, and in permanent contact with a polluted workplace environment in lattakia. Hair sample were analyzed for their contents of the trace elements by inductivity coupled plasma- mass spectrometer (ICP- MS). It was found that the contents of (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni) in the hair were significantly higher in the industrial areas and cities, while in the village had the lower concentration of elements. Correlation coefficients between the levels of the elements in hair found in this study showed that hair is a good indicator of Environmental Pollution.

Prodigiosin is a ‘natural red pigment produced by Serratia marcescens which exhibits immunosuppressive and anticancer properties in addition to antimicrobial activities. This work presents an attempt to maximize the production of prodigiosin by two different strategies: one factor at time (OFAT) and statistical optimization. The result of OFAT revealed that sucrose and peptone were the best carbon and nitrogen sources for pigment production with concentration of prodigiosin of about 135 mg/ L. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common malignant neoplasm of the oral mucosa. Human papillomavirus (HPV) virus cause a broad scope of diseases from benign to invasive tumors, types 16 and 18 classified as carcinogenic to humans.
