In spite of the disappearing of a clear uniform textbook for teaching ESP at different departments and different colleges in both scientific and humanistic studies, the practitioners at those departments and colleges have to teach translation as one of the important requirements to pass the English language exam. Because of a trade off between the etalon finesse values and driving terms, an optimization procedures have been done on the InSb etalon/CO laser parameters, using critical switching irradiance (I_c) via simulation systems of optimization procedures of optical cavity. in order to achieve the  minimum switching power and faster switching time, the optimization parameters of the finesse values and driving terms on optical bistability and switching dynamics must be studied.

The effect of the optical feedback on the polarization flipping point and hysteresis loop was studied. The polarization flipping occurred at all angles between the polarizer axis and the laser polarization. The polarization flipping point changed by an optical feedback occurred at angles from 0° to 90°. Ability of choosing or controlling the laser polarization was determined by changing the direction of vertical and horizontal polarization by polarizer rotation in the external cavity from 0° to 90°.
