Complexes of Au(III) ,Pd (II) , Pt (IV ) and Rh(III) with S – propynyle -2- thiobenzimidazole (BENZA) have been prepared and characterized by IR and UV- Visible spectral methods in addition to magnetic and conductivity measurements and micro – elemental analysis (CHN).The probable structures of the new complexes have been suggested.
The spectrum of clinical efficacy of Methotrexate (MTX) is broad in that MTX is used in the treatment of certain cancers, severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.Various mechanisms by which cancer cells grown in tissue culture become resistant to anticancer drugs. The use of multiple drugs with different mechanisms of entry into cells and different cellular targets allows for effective chemotherapy and high cure rates. In an efforts to develop effective strategies that increase the therapeutic potential of anticancer drugs with less systemic toxicity ,are being directed towards the investigation of dietary supplements and other phytotherapeutic agents for their synergistic efficacy in combination with anticancer drugs. Compton profile, the Compton energy absorption cross sections are
measured and calculated using formulas based on a relativistic
impulse approximation. The Compton energy-absorption cross
sections are evaluated for different elements (Fe, Zn, Ag, Au and Hg)
and for a photon energy range (1 - 100 keV). With using these crosssections,
the Compton component of the mass–energy absorption
coefficient was derived, where the electron momentum prior to the
scattering event caused a Doppler broadening of the Compton line.
Also, the momentum resolution function was evaluated in terms of
incident and scattered photon energy and scattering angle. The res
Complexes of Cr+3, Ni+2 and Cu+2 with the ligand 2-(p- nitrobenzoyl) thiobenzimidazol) (L) were prepared and characterized by FT-IR ,UV-Visible, TG analysis ,Atomic absorption spectroscopy , Molar conductivity and magnetic moments measurements .The general formula has been suggested for all the prepared complexes [Cr(L)2Cl2]Cl.4H2O, [Ni(L)2(H2O)2]Cl2.2H2O and [Cu(L)2(H2O)2]Cl2.2C2H5OH to be an octahedral geometry. A theoretical treatment of these compounds in gas phase was done using HyperChem.8.7 program. Semi –empirical PM3 method was performed to evaluate the ∆H° ƒ, ∆ Eb and ∆ET for all compounds, also vibration frequencies, electronic spectra and electrostatic potential HOMO and LUMO energies for the ligand was estimated to de

We also prepare the metal complexes of poly (vinyl- 4-aminobenzoate) and antimicrobial properties were evaluated by dilute method against five pathogenic bacteria (Escherichia coli, Shigella dysentery, Klebsiella pneumonae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus Albus) and two fungal (Aspergillus Niger, Yeast). All polymer metal complexes showed different activities against the various microbial isolates. The polymer metal complexes showed higher activity than the free polymer.
New metal ions complexes of tridentate ligand (1-((dicyclohexylamino) methyl)-3-(1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrzol-4-ylimino) indolin-2-one) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical-physical analysis. The ligand acts as a tridentate for the complexation reaction with all metal ions. The new complexes, possessing the general formula [M(L)Cl]Cl where M=[Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pd(II), Cd(II), Pt(IV) and Hg(II) ] ,show tetrahedral geometry. All complexes ,except Pd(II) complex which has a square planar geometry and Pt(IV) which show an octahedral geometry. The geometry of the prepared compounds has been proposed in another method theoretically by using one of the calculation molecular programs (Hype

The ligand was synthesised by a multi-steps by treating 5-amino-2-chlorobenzonitrile and cyclohexane -1,3-dione, the 5,5'-(((1E,3E)-cyclohexane-1,3-diylidene)bis(azanylylidene))bis(2-chlorobenzonitrile) was obtained. The precursor (M) was prepared from the reaction 5,5'-(((1E,3E)-cyclohexane-1,3-diylidene)bis(azanylylidene))bis(2-chlorobenzonitrile) with NaN3 to obtained (1E,3E)-N1,N3-bis(4-chloro-3-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl)cyclohexane-1,3-diimine (N).
