The ability of using aluminum filings which is locally solid waste was tested as a mono media in gravity rapid filter. The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of variation of influent water turbidity (10, 20and 30 NTU); flow rate(30, 40, and 60 l/hr) and bed height (30and60)cm on the performance of aluminum filings filter media for 5 hours run time and compare it with the conventional sand filter. The results indicated that aluminum filings filter showed better performance than sand filter in the removal of turbidity and in the reduction of head loss. In this paper we will investigate some Heuristic methods to solve travelling salesman problem. The discussed methods are Minimizing Distance Method (MDM), Branch and Bound Method (BABM), Tree Type Heuristic Method (TTHM) and Greedy Method (GRM).

The weak points of MDM are manipulated in this paper. The Improved MDM (IMDM) gives better results than classical MDM, and other discussed methods, while the GRM gives best time for 5≤ n ≤500, where n is the number of visited cities.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the levels of trace elements Magnesium (Mg), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), and Selenium (Se) in blood sera of asthmatic patients by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The concentrations of Mg, Cu, and Zn have been determined by Flame Atomic Absorption spectrophotometry (FAAS), and Se with flameless Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (GFAAS). The study involves (55) asthmatic patients as study group and (28) subjects as control from both genders.
