The parasite was isolated from a stool sample, cultivated and maintained in vitro using Locke-egg medium (LEM) and Liver infusion agar medium (LIAM) . Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are of potential interest because of their effective antibacterial and antiviral activities.
